My question would be:
Who was behind him in that case?

Would the US have attacked Burma or Lebanon if they had "harbored" any terrorists? I doubt that.

So the attack on Afghanistan was justified, because they were "harboring" terrorists? How about Pakistan? They have admitted harboring them.


I would prefer this analogy: If someone came to your home, after you had taken away their eldest son and replaced him with one of your own, were to shoot you in the leg, or some other non-fatal gunshot wound, and if you had an arsenal to pulverize that person.... and you don't do anything irrational, then you are not worth the diploma for being the biggest war-enticing and globally oppressing country, in the entire world.

And I'd say, your children don't deserve to die or be tricked into sacrificing their lives and at the very least the quality of their lives.  less

Racism May Affect Infant Mortality Rates

WASHINGTON - For decades, health experts have tried to determine why African-American babies are twice as likely to die as white infants.

A new   more...series of studies from the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies' Health Policy Institute, along with a small but growing number of neonatalogists nationwide, suggests that the stressful effects of racism play a role.

"That's the elephant in the room," said Michael Lu, an obstetrician-gynecologist and professor at the University of California at Los Angeles who studies disparities in infant health. "When we're studying racial disparities, for decades people have looked at stress and infant mortality without looking at the reasons for the stress."

Black infant mortality is a complicated puzzle that includes poverty, poor nutrition, inadequate prenatal care, teen pregnancy, heredity, high blood pressure, stress, obesity, low birth weights and prematurity. However, some neonatologists and child health advocates have pushed for more research to get behind the social reasons why these factors seem to take a higher toll on African-American infants than they do on other babies.

Today, he can't keep a job, pay his bills, or chase thoughts of suicide from his tortured brain. In a few weeks, he may lose his house, too.

Gamal Awad, the American son of a Sudanese immigrant, exemplifies an emerging group of war veterans: the economic casualties.

More than in past wars, many wounded troops are coming home alive from the Middle East. That's a triumph for military medicine. But they often return hobbled by prolonged physical and mental injuries from homemade bombs and the unremitting anxiety of fighting a hidden enemy along blurred battle lines. Treatment, recovery and retraining often can't be assured quickly or cheaply.

These troops are just starting to seek help in large numbers, more than 185,000 so far. But the cost of their benefits is already testing resources set aside by government and threatening the future of these wounded veterans for decades to come, say economists and veterans' groups.

"The wounded and their families no longer trust that the government will take care of them the way they thought they'd be taken care of," says veterans advocate Mary Ellen Salzano.

How does a war veteran expect to be treated? "As a hero," she says.

Every morning, Awad needs to think of a reason not to kill himself.

A short animation of the Akatsuki members from the anime Naruto.

Its my first proper movie, so its a bit short and crappy.

The background for each character is related to the village that they came from,   more...with the exception of the blue haired member and Tobi, they have a black background, because nobody knows where they come from. The leader's villiage is unknown, so i've added a manga colouring of his villiage (thanks to whoever coloured it, i'm sorry that I can't remember who did it).

I don't know who the leader is, nobody does. Just wait until its revealed in the manga.

This is version 2 (version 1 is on youtube, and has about 17k hits xD).
In the previous version, I put Hidans background as being from the country of grass, but was later told that he wasn't in fact from there. So, as nobody else seems to know his village name, I simply put his Jashin symbol there instead.
