I put this video together for TheChildrensTable, and those of us not afraid to admit a fascination with the gifts that Mother Nature has given us. A year ago, we met our first Grey Tree Frog, Pudge,   more...when he clung to the window beside our front door. This spring, he was joined by Spout, who was found in the downspout of the eaves trough of our shed. A tree branch to sit on, dirt and moss to burrow in, clean, springwater to soak in with an occasional spray bottle shower, and a supply of crickets keeps them healthy and happy.  less

Daniel found seeds in his apple and insisted on planting them, if nothing grows we will have to buy one for him but we sure did have fun gardening, my llittle mans got a green thumb.

This is the story of a wonderful Birch tree that had become old. It was dried up and dead looking as well. Lynn and Missy were ashamed to even get caught looking at it. This tree had to go....in order   more...to make room for the new tree.....what a sacrifice. Are you that willing to sacrifice everything, or anything you know and love for the sake of another? You don't hear about that anymore. Gone are the days when real people knew what sacrifice meant...and was still willing to do it for the greater good of another. Gone are those days.  less
