Its been fun guys, But I just dont have time anymore.

At first the bike wouldn't start at all, so we thought we ran into another dud. We did try to jump it, and it was choking and coughing a little, but after about 15 minutes of idle running, the bike was   more...smooth as butter. Finally, we found a great learner's bike for my buddy Tal.  less

So my buddy just took the MSF class, and is shopping around for a bike. I help him look at bikes. I've advised him that a Ninja 250 would be the perfect lightweight learner bike. This is the second   more...bike we've seen, but it's the most interesting *cough* one so far. *cough*  less

Ok, near the end I got sidetracked, if you're dropping more than 1 gear, you just need to give it a bit more gas. You can generally assume you'll need an extra 1,000 rpm per gear, aside from 1st, I think   more...it's closer to 3,000. And for the record, these are tips for the Ninja 250, not necissarily any other bike. Keeping the throttle wide open and jamming something like a ZX1400 into the next gear would probably have less than desireable results.  less

Met up with RideYourRide and proceeded to put about 300 miles on the new bike, setting it solidly past break-in time.

I totally need a new exhaust. My bike sounds like a chirpy lawnmower.
