I think religion was the natural outgrowth of our ancestor's observations, coupled with the development of language and storytelling. They were simply trying to make sense of the world. The point of the video is that even if none of the people are 'true' Christians (see my video for opinions on what that means), they have persecuted Jews IN THE NAME OF CHRISTIANITY. So my point is, religion is to blame. Whatever name you give it, people who take the Bible as their Holy Book did these things. And just because you think you're not part of the same religion (if you're a Christian YOU ARE!), doesn't mean that your denial of history, or denial that Catholics are Christian, makes Christianity any less responsible.

If you deny that Christians persecuted the Jews, you are the same kind of scum who denies the Holocaust happened. There really is no difference.
