Going North on Interstate 45. A view while driving on the freeway. Houston's county name is Harris County.

This video shows a drive through Denver Colorado on Interstate 25 the Valley Highway during the afternoon rush hour. Not too bad an experience, except for one particular left lane blocker, who happened   more...to be driving a big dump truck in front of us most of the way.

There is a couple of good views of the Downtown Denver skyline in this video.

Also included is an example of fast changing Colorado winter weather. A storm had dropped over a foot (probably about 40 cm.) of snow, and it was fast melting in the morning sunshine.  less

Some random video of the Utah Desert

Sped up video driving through Milwaukee's Marquette Interchange from three directions. Sorry about the rain and the wipers! I was just testing this idea, I will try it again on a sunny day. I got three   more...directions but didn't get I-794 over the Hoan, so I'll include that next time as well. The tidbit at the end is for my brother who starts school this fall to be a firefighter - he loves firetrucks :)

When I was growin’ up in the 50s and 60s, my family took lots of cross country road trips, and I vividly remember takin’ old Route 66, and all the other typical two lane highways, before the days of the   more...four lane super highways, which bypassed and made obsolete, the roads I so vividly remember . . . so on my trip to Vegas this week I again took the “Road Less Traveled”, so headed over to the southeast end of California to travel on this old two lane road. The “real” speed I was goin’ was 85mph in a 65mph zone (with the help of a GREAT radar/laser detector to save me from gettin’ speedin’ tickets! LOL), and the speed I was goin’ when I got behind the other car was only around 75mph, so the “virtual” speed when I increased the video speed in this video is three times those speeds, or roughly between 225mph and 255mph, to increase the fun "roller coaster" effect of the old road.
