this is my new demoreel from 2006, i would show some different usage possibilities of 3d-vis. It is created with maxon cinema 4d,nextlimits maxwellrender and sony vegas. I hope to get some comments about   more...and maybe some new projects.
Sound is completely done by my brother Thomas Binek - a great selfemployed sounddesigner.

4D Flying with an Ikarus Variable Pitch Prop setup...
Nose down torque rolls anyone?
(you need an outrunner motor with a hollow shatf) that has a conrtol rod
runing through it so you can control the prop:P
  more...The blade on the prop change pitch while the prop spins at constant
speed... instead of being something like 10x4, they change to 10x-4.
The negitive pitch produces thrust the oposite direction.
i.e. 4D - mean's the plane is capable of flying backwards :)
Lol..ok it's called 4D not because it travels through time (obviously) but
becasue it is able to stand still in mid air...giving the apperance of time
standing still. Not my name for it...  less

Blender is a free open-source software for doing 3D CGI animation and modeling. I got it when I acquired AUDACITY a year ago (ALSO a freeware program). Having never done 3D CGI before (ALL my stuff   more...is 2D, even the stuff that LOOKS 3D), I bought a couple of books on how to use the program and am book-learning my way through the process. The first clipo is a "molecule" exercise from one of the books, and the second clip is just me farting around with modifying shapes and camera moves. No fancy texture mapping or other esoteric rendering yet. Justa buncha shapes and lights. Just me having fun when I SHOULD be shooting some much needed live footage for collabs.  less
