It's a gift to you all to show my appreciation for all you've taught me on the journey, so far.

"The Fear Chronicles" has become much more than   more...just me exploring the topic of fears.

This community, in all its collective wisdom and heart, has given me the light in which to pierce through the darkness into fear itself- doing so with humor, fierce intensity, the courage to take risks, the courage to be vulnerable, and the desire to connect with others on a much deeper level so as to push aside fear and speak from a place of love.

children, home, love, letting go, and living your life.


Life

Life is change,
Change is the movement of time,
It's the flow of life
That keeps moving,
Like a river with no beginning and   more...no end.

People are born
At the edge of the river,
Their tiny hands pulling fish from the stream,
Their face a reflection of hope
As they follow the sun.

Through the years,
The river's forgotten,
As they wander through childhood,
Collecting rocks, flowers,
And friends that run with them through the wind.

As parents stand by and watch,
The young exploring the world for the first time,
At first from a distance
Guided by others,
And then suddenly standing on the path alone.

All the while,
Pulling knowledge from the earth
As the seasons keep pushing,
Preparing them for this day,
When from seed to tree, their destiny becomes their own.

As mind and body
Pulls childhood treasures from pockets,
Replacing them with wisdom,
And leading them back to the river,
Back to the memories they call home.  less

Next time you don't feel like being harassed by a telemarketer, try spewing out a great bit like this.
