Finally i am done making this AMV... After 3 weeks of pure effort and hard work i was able to do something i would like to call my "Best Amv" i added alot of lyrical comparisons. So that in   more...some way this video had a connection with the song...also i didnt want to go overboard with alot of effects so i added the simple stuff to get into the emotion of the song... i also did alot of masking which allowed me to put my creativity to work ;D... making this AMV was a great experience and i learned alot... i hope you Enjoy

da Symbollism: *eye spasm* SO much of my time went into illustrating yin-yang symbollism, and also the metaphor of Love and Life as   more...Battle. *twitch* This vid gets an "A" for "Aangst" rating.

I have a thing for Latin chants. (*^-^*) That's the first thing that attracted me to Enigma, and this song in particular. I changed the whole concept of the vid at least three times, went through five "final" editions before this one got my muse's approval! *headdesk* I don't think I've ever spent more time on a single video project in my entire life.

A gravity wave is a vertical wave. The best example I can think of in describing what a gravity wave looks like is to   more...think of a rock being thrown into a pond. Ripples or circles migrate from the point the rock hits the water. An up and down motion is created. With increasing distance from the point where the rock hit the water, the waves becomes less defined (the waves are dampening).Now let's look at what a gravity wave is in the atmosphere. To start a gravity wave, a TRIGGER mechanism must cause the air to be displaced in the vertical. Examples of trigger mechanisms that produce gravity waves are mountains and thunderstorm updrafts. To generate a gravity wave, the air must be forced to rise in STABLE air. Why? Because if air rises in unstable air it will continue to rise and will NOT create a wave pattern. If air is forced to rise up in stable air, the natural tendency will be for the air to sink back down over time (usually because the parcel forced to rise is colder than the environment). The momentum of the air imparted by the trigger mechanism will force the parcel to rise and the stability of the atmosphere will force the parcel of air to sink after it rises (you have now undergone the first steps into creating a wave)...  less
