Rubber Soul is the sixth album by The Beatles, first released in December 1965. The album was recorded in just over four weeks to make the Christmas market. It was a major artistic achievement for the   more...band, attaining widespread critical and commercial success, with reviewers taking note of The Beatles' developing musical vision. In 2003, the album was ranked number 5 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
The Beatles left a hole for the instrumental break when they recorded this. Producer George Martin filled it in the next morning by playing a piano solo and speeding up the tape to make it sound like a harpsichord. Lennon had asked him to fill it with something "baroque."

There is controversy over how involved McCartney was in writing this. Lennon claimed in later interviews that he wrote the whole thing, while McCartney claimed it was an equal collaboration.

This is an autobiographical song about John Lennon's life. He wrote most of the lyrics after being asked why a book he wrote, In His Own Write, revealed more about him than his songs did.
The lyrics about friends refer to Stu Sutcliffe, an early Beatle and great friend of John's who died in 1962, and another friend named Pete Shotton.

This is a simple piece I made last week. It's part of my "Oceans Of the Moon". This is the "Sea of Nectar" [Mare Nectaris] 333 km. in diameter... :-)
It's very easy to play so I hope   more...many of my dear friends here will give it a try someday.

This is a piece I composed for lunalunanueva.
It consists of different parts that describe some of the "oceans" of the Moon. First is the "Sea of Serenity" (Mare Serenitatis), then   more..."Ocean of Storms" (Oceanus Procellarum), they are repeated... Then comes, the arpeggio part; "Sea of Waves" (Mare Undarum) And to the end the piece, a Coda; "Sea of Tranquility" (Mare Tranquillitatis)
There are 23 Seas on the Moon! I might compose a piece for all of them!

Many of you were asking about the sound. I decided to make a video about how we did it. Just for fun!! These are fragments from the takes (outtakes) that I didn't use. As you can hear, the sound from   more...the guitar has varied quality on the different takes, so back home, I watched the video and played along with it.

Hi guys! I have been in USA and I am now back in Denmark again. I hope you had a great Easter. I did.
I recorded this before leaving and it's for all my friends out there still listening to me. I made   more...this arrangement a month ago after hearing a version for the guitar on the radio. I hope you will like it.
I am sorry for "hitting" you at 1:44 but my sleeve touched the strings so I had to strech my right arm to remove it .. :-) It looks as if I am threatening you. I AM NOT! Sorry...
Those waiting for my "Winter" from the "Four Seasons" have to wait a little longer because I am re-composing that...
