Xcorps Action Sports Show #18.)"MOUNTAIN BOARD"-seg.2- Xcorps host Eric Ducharme and 20 other dirt board skaters roll down the infamous Nate Harrison grade on the backside of Californias Mt.   more...Palomar in this grassroots speed driven episode.
All terrain skating also known as mountain boarding is a hybrid sport that has taken skating to a whole new grass roots level of adrenalized excitement.
Once again Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling on the action as boarders ripped down the 7 miles of rough fire road on the historic Palomar Mtn which is topped by the famous observatory. Race rules were simple- fastest time to the bottom of the mountain wins.
The show opens fast and hot as the X Guru and other boarders strap themselves to their specialized skateboards, which have pneumatic tires, and spring suspensions that help handle the bone jarring washboard ride. Dirt riders roll hard in show scenes backed by Maverick Records band One Side Zero. See the dust and gravel fly as Eric and the guys and one gal-Julian Lewis- slide into the hairpins. Lots of cool POV and multi angle speed shots here along with some brutal wipeouts. Most riders do wear full protective gear resulting in a good survival rate.
Eric then talks to race organizer Rob Eakle about the grass roots event and the sponsors that make it happen. After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with the band Skinny Puppy showing some major break skills in their new video/song called Pro Test directed by William Morrison. Very hip shot and edited film backed with tunes by a world-class band. Check this vid!
The next segment rolls right into another new video from RIVE and Side One Dummy Records with the band Flogging Molly rocking a punk Celtic-Core Irish jig called Drunken Lullabies. After that the camera shifts to host Bob Woodard at the XC test site at Irvine Lake California where Bob takes a look at a new way to ride the waves-on a Powerski! See how he does on his first ride on the board all pushed hard with a song and video from the Maverick Records band The Deftones.
After break its over to Laguna Beach Ca where we find host Roslyn Bradle covering the niche fun beach sport of skim boarding or riding the waves that break on the beach.
Laguna is all about the beach break and XC cams get lots of sweet skim moves by some of the best skim surfers out there all mixed up with music and shots from So. Cal based band LiT rolling their song. Roz talks with skim master and Common Sense band member Nick Hernandez about the history of the sport.

First off is a Retro Hop look back with a rap video by the band CHARIZMA and PEANUT BUTTER WOLF circa San Jose, Ca –1992. Roslyn then turns viewers on to something new from Sweden-a Relapse Records band called BURST and their vid Save the Lives. Trying to figure this one out is pretty fun but don’t watch this if you dislike insects and power lines and more insects!

Guest host Rat Sult who is known in the industry as a bad assed nice guy has some fun as an Xcorps host giving details on subjects such as his protective leathers and how to roll without burning on a high-speed slide. Great shots here with Rat screaming by the cameras at close to 60 MPH on the rural So Cal hairpins. See dust fly as he cuts it too close and hits the rock wall.! New hip hop vid from the band WildChild doing their song WonderYears rolls this action.
After the break Rat returns with some shots from his luge gold medal wins in the X and Gravity Games and a thro to a pimpin huge video from our pals at RIVE and SPV Records with the band Monster Magnet rolling out their song Unbroken Hotel Baby. Interview with band member Dave Windorf after the video. What an icon!
Then the luge street action returns from the serpentine hills 30 miles north of San Diego with Rat and some adrenalized POV on board shots pushed by the angst and darkness of RoadRunner Records band SlipKnot letting loose out of control scenes from their new video Duality. Xcorps Action Sports Show #14.)"BASE-2"-seg.2- Those fearing heights beware -this episode of the Xcorps freefalls right over the edge with guest host and world class B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy   more...dropping into a 1200 foot glory hole in Mexico called Cave of the Swallows. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States -Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England- Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo.
B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. Jumping BASE is jumping with no margin for error. Feel true terror with scenes shot with multi helmet cams worn by the six eXtremists. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet – The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out.
Mid way through the show Ray introduces a new music video from our friends at Rive music promotions with the band NickelBack cranking up the volume with an explosive solid rock performance of their song - Figured You Out.
After that Ray returns with more BASE action followed by Xcorps host Bob Woodard riding a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Xcorps Action Sports Show #13.)"WHEELMAN"-seg.1- Bending the bounds of sanity this episode of the Xcorps rolls at the viewer at double blink speed with the usual action and music and a look   more...at new products like the rim drive foot motorcycle from Australia called the Wheelman and a new skate board concept called Tierney Rides all tested hard by Xcorps host Eric Xguru Ducharme and Bob Woodard.
Jason Lazo opens the show from Southern California’s extreme sports zone-Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower. Using props from the film industry this sports park rolls large with vast paintball and skate zones along with BMX tracks, arcades and other sports fun. Eric enters the paint pens armed with a XC digi cam to record his own demise at the hands of local youth. Tunes and film from Rive Video Promotions with the band Benumb shoving back hard. Eric checks out the BMX track with local rider Danny Downey who tears the track and inverts his Haro at will. Music by Outkast in the piece sweetens the moves.
After the break Jason intros a new music video from Maverick records featuring the St. Louis band Story of the Year who kick the show up yet another notch!
Then Jason opens the title segment with the new motorized foot motorcycle called the Wheelman. Introduced on a previous Xcorps episode the Wheelman is currently being distributed in the U.S. and our Xguru along with Gravity Games street luge champ Rat Sult are the first to ride the new hubless unit off and on road in this crazy segment. After that its back to Bob Woodard product testing a new way to skate on a 2 wheeled swivel truck board called Tierney Rides. See Bob roll this board with some snowboard moves on the San Diego Point Loma hills. Cool shots and moves from local rider Marcus on the multipurpose Carve Board along with some insane Tierney video from our friends at 4-Reel Productions in Lake Tahoe. Pennywise, Paul Oakenfold and Ice Cube add their say to the piece.
Then Eric returns back at the sports park and talks to inline skater Scooby who tells how long it took to learn his back flip 180. The Rolling Stones and Dr. Dre -Miss You remix ads flavor to more paintball carnage with Eric showing nasty welts.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #12.)"LUGE"-segs.1and2- Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling at a grassroots guerilla style gravity sports event we call The Barrett Junction Shootout featuring   more...downhill luge, stand up skate board, inline speed skate and gravity bike racing held at Barrett Junction near San Diego Ca. Firestorms raged as gravity riders from around the world zipped on leathers, checked trucks and let it go at the IGSA sanctioned event organized by rider Frank Waterhouse who broke the course record on the closed stretch of highway not far from the Mexican border.
Xcorps host Bob Woodard opens the show from San Diego riding the Speed Skater street luge equipped with the new SkateBrake. Not bad for a first run Bob! Our cameras were as committed as all those who showed up at the event amid warnings that out of control firestorms burned on all sides. Lots of big smoke and fire shots here as well as a dedication to all the victims of the biggest fire in San Diego history.
Papa Roach and Lo-Tel pump the action with X and Gravity Games winners like Rat Sult and the ever-loved Kludy pushing 60mph down the hair pinned and cliff edged coarse which offered no room for error. See riders in their best speed tucks and a sick head over heels wipeout by gravity bike rider Noah Rutherford who lives to tell the Xcorps cameras all about it. Yes we slo-mo the magic moments for our viewing audience. Noah split the bikes rims and will recover.
Inline speedskaters Dave Lambert and downhill champ George Merkert talk about their realm of the event and invite other skaters to go for speed while Donald Orlando shows off his 84mm 6 wheel skates he got up to 58mph! Nice. After that Xcorps guest host and gravity champ Rat Sult talks to the fiercest female competitor in the league Stacy Allen from Oklahoma and asks her how she got into the sport. After the break speed board legend Kludy talks to the camera about the effects of big winds on course speed. Frank Homemade Waterhouse wraps the shootout with his thoughts, more race action and some powerful shots taken from space of the fires that surrounded the event closing all exit roads. Many camped the night.

What follows next is what we do best cutting the edge with hosts Bob Woodard and Eric Ducharme testing out the new model snow bikes with a Go Big attitude and a knack for avoiding the ski patrol. California girl and XC teammate Roslyn Bradle opens the show from her pacific home on the beach in Santa Monica with some jive on Bob about his Hawaiian assignment. Go girl! Tough job Bob gets up with the Kona dawn and boards the sports fisher Intrepid in search of the elusive one ton blue marlin. Always bringing you the best in alternative sports action see the big Hemingway/Grey style hookup and the brute battle between man and fish. See both sides win in this match. Great CW fish tunes here from the band The Dorados.
After that Bob opens a segment on speed wind surfing on the ocean off Maui with pro boarder Chip Pennel who we fitted with a full blown helmet cam package for some super clean POV shots Xcorps style. The show opens from Fontana Ca at the Cal Speedway where the Yamaha SuperBike Challenge is covered by host Jason Lazo. See 200MPH motorcycle runs here with Jason talking to riders Vincent Haskovik of team Hooters –yes the hooters girls are featured here as well. J also talks with rider Marty Craggill about the Zen of pushing the 200MPH mark.
After that Xcorps Films presents part#2 in the B.A.S.E. series with segment host and psycho jumper Ray Murphy returning to the screen this time from Copper Canyon Mexico where he and his friends jump the 3000 foot cliffs of this remotely exotic location. This is rare stuff with Ray being only the 5th person on earth to jump El Gigante! Multiple camera and POV angles here to help you gut feel the 20 second fall down a rock face. See what Ray says scared him the most as well as the chopper skid drop high over their campsite all as close to the edge as possible.
Then J man Lazo rolls into Burbank to talk to the band powering the tunes in these jump segs – The Prom Kings – together only 6 months! Our cams caught mega record producer Fred Croshal there, this band is going places! See a Ford F150 stay airborne forever! Bikes, trikes, carts, ATV’s and custom rods along with riders on towed furniture and topless chicks. Throw in hard tunes by The Silence and some ugly wipeouts and you have the picture. Xcorps Action Sports TV #8.) SURF seg.2 -A sport as cool as riding a wave is the focus of this XC episode featuring a surf trip to the notorious island of Todos Santos off Ensenada Mexico and an exclusive   more...interview with surf legend Gerry Lopez at his home in Maui Hawaii.
Hosts Jason Lazo and Roslyn Bradle open the show from the beach in Santa Monica Ca where Jason talks about the south of the border shoot taken with a group of San Diego surfers. Follow them as they cross the border and head for Ensenada Mexico overcoming challenges such as a boat breakdown 10 miles off the coast. See how they eventually reach and ride the open ocean monster waves at a break called Killers!
Also on this show we go to exotic Hawaii to the island of Maui to visit and talk with Pipeline surf legend Gerry Lopez who invited our cameras into his home and onto his surfboard! Yes we attached a H20 cam to his board for some fun shots of the master carving some turns at HoOkipa beach park. See these exclusive shots and hear what Gerry has to say about the early days of Pipeline and why he missed the 1st Pipeline Masters surf event. Included are clips of fellow surfer Corky Carroll in Huntington Beach Ca with his side of the story! Who do you believe? While at his house we asked Gerry what kind of surf junk he had stored in his garage and scored big by turning up the original board from the 1978 Warner Bros. cult movie Big Wednesday starring Gerry and actors Jan-Michael Vincent, William Katt and Gary Busey. See what else the XC cams find in his garage and check the sweet bikini clad native girl swimming in nearby crystal waters. Smooth island music here from the local band Paradyse c/o Outrigger Hotels.
After that it’s back to California where Roslyn opens a segment with The X Guru - Eric Ducharme riding the new SiKK Bike – the worlds smallest motorcycle. Pretty SiKK and pretty fun!
