I started to say how my dad taught me a great lesson when I was just a wee little lad, and got sidetracked into these great lyrics: When I was just a wee little lad full of health and joy, my father homeward   more...came one night and gave to me a toy. I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will. The first time that I picked it up I had a big surprise 'cuz right on the bottom were two big buttons that looked like big green eyes. I first pushed one, and then the other, then I twisted it's lid and when I set it down again here's what it did: .It went ZIP when it moved, and POP when it stopped...and WHIRRRRRRR when it stood still... I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will. It first marched left, and then marched right, and then marched right under a chair, and when I looked where it had gone it wasn't EVEN there!!! I started to cry but my daddy laughed cuz he knew that I would find when I turned around my marvelous toy would be not far behind. .It went ZIP when it moved, and POP when it stopped, WHIRRRRRRR when it stood still... I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will. whrrrrrrrrr pop vrooooom pop zip whrrrrrr!!! The years've gone by so quickly it seems, I have my own little boy... and yesterday I gave to him my marvelous little toy; His eyes nearly popped right out of his head and he gave a squeal of glee, neither one of us knows just what it is but he loves it just like me. Just something I made up. It may be something I've heard and forgotten the name, so I just call it Bayou Breakdown.

Bob Dylan released his first self-titled album "Bob Dylan" in 1962. In his first album is the song "Pretty Peggy-O," a variation of the Scottish folk song "The Bonnie Lass o'   more...Fyvie."

Bob Dylan's first album sold around 5,000 copies the first year, just breaking even. Some in Columbia Records wanted to drop Bob Dylan, but due to support from the likes of Johnny Cash he stayed.

Bob Dylan rarely performed songs from his first album and as such I was unable to find a live version of the song on video. So I put a together a collection of photographs and lyrics.

Due to the faith of those who knew him in his early days, Bob Dylan has become a legend and will always be remembered in history as an important figure in music whose influence spans five decades.  less
