This song was suggested to me by a friend on another site, and I'm so glad it was! It gave me an opportunity to explore the deserts of the world, though I did focus on the beautiful deserts of North America.
  more..."Horse With No Name" was written by Dewey Bunnell and actually started out as "Desert Song". The name was changed just before it was recorded. It was written as an antidote to England's rainy weather and as an escape from the chaotic music industry lifestyle - back to the peaceful, quiet deserts of California, Arizona and New Mexico.
