This song was suggested to me by a friend on another site, and I'm so glad it was! It gave me an opportunity to explore the deserts of the world, though I did focus on the beautiful deserts of North America.

We took a 1970's military issued parachute and ran new lines and made a harness and took it out to florence or and used a sandboard. It work for 5 secs. Next time we're using a Real parachute!!

This video follows the creation, dismantling, and releasing of a personal sand mandala. I borrowed from the Tibetan Buddhist sand mandala ritual, but   more...this is in no way intended to imitate a Buddhist ceremony. It is my personal ritual around allowing and letting go. This mandala design came out of a series of artworks around being seen.

The first minute of images represents 10 hours of work to complete the sand mandala, done over the course of two days. I'll post a video in the next few days that describes more about the whole process.  less

I take a walk to Lordsley Quarry where, as a teenager, I used to ride my off road motorcycle. I approach the quarry from the working section but bottle it as the security seems very high and I get scared   more...of walking into quick sand. I'll try to gain entrance from the other side which is disused. This is not a motorcycle related series so I'm not sure if it will interest anyone but I thought I'd upload it anyway.  less
