This pairing is my OTP right after SasuSaku. I love them so much; I'm pretty surprised I didn't   more...do a video much earlier. o.O

... So this AMV has it's own story line. It does not follow the show, really. Here's whats goin' down :

Ed's an only child, [NO AL?! OMFG WHAT HAVE I DONE !!1 .. I'm so sorry Al. D: ] and he becomes good friends with Winry. Ed waits for Winry one day and when she comes she tells him that her parents have been killed. Soon after, his mother died. So he goes and finds a teacher and learns better alchemy. He comes home to perform human transmutation to bring his mother back, but something goes wrong. Lightning strikes and suddenly Winry runs into the room to see Ed in that bad condition.
So Winry takes Ed in, and takes care of him and gives him automail. Ed burns his house down the night he leaves to go join the military.
When Winry goes down to visit him, she's taken by a man dressed as a woman; Ed finds a nail laying on the ground, and realizes that it belongs to Winry. So he goes to find her, and ends up being knocked out and wakes up being tied to a chair. Barry, the man who's done all of this, brings Winry out and Ed remembers when the were little. Barry cuts Winry and makes her bleed, and this inspired Ed to use alchemy to get out of that chair. He tries to get her free, but Barry swings at Ed which causes him to run. Barry keeps swinging at Ed, and Ed can hear Winry screaming for him. Once Barry looks back at Winry, Ed strikes and kills Barry.
That night, Ed cries while telling Winry how alone he feels and how bad he feels now that he's killed someone. Winry invites him to come live with her. Everything is good until Winry tells Ed that she took and looked inside of his watch. Outraged, Ed leaves leaving Winry to worry if he's going to come home or not. He comes home later on to find her sleeping; He crawls into bed with her and she wakes up to Ed sleeping beside her.
A few weeks or so later Ed gets sent the hospital. She comes to visit him, and she thinks he's hiding something. She comes back later and he finally tells her that he has to leave for a dangerous mission, she's so upset that she runs out crying.
When Ed is on his way home from the hospital, he see's Winry signaling home. The next morning, Ed leaves on a train and Winry cries as she's watching it leave.
Ed looks for Greed, and finds him. Greed notices Ed watching him, so when Greed finally catches up, he knocks Ed out with one hit. While walking home, Winry see's Greed. He talks about Ed, and then kidnaps her.

Ed comes to find Winry tied up, and Greed all over her. They begint to fight, and Ed begins to lose from the start. But while he's getting beat around, he can hear Winry crying -- So suddenly he starts to kick it up a notch, and eventually kills Greed.
Later on, their back at the house. Winry looks at Ed and knows how bad he feels about killing Greed, so she tells him that it has to end. [ Meaning their relashinship ] Because she's holding him back. Ed takes her to the train station, and looks down as her train leaves.
Ed turns his hair green and dresses up in desquise. He leads people to think that he's been killed.
Winry is told by Ed's teachers husband that Ed's been killed. Winry looks at the picture of Ed and begins to cry. She goes to his grave, and remembers his smile. But hiding down a little farther, is Ed.

While going to put flowers on Ed's grave with her friend, Chezka, They watch a jet crash. When the smoke passes, Winry can tell who's laying there. She suddenly remembers being told that Ed had never been found. She runs over to him and then hugs him tightly -- Ed blushes and smiles, and they go home.  less
