A little director's commentary: Among the stylistic inspirations for this film include Bill Plympton (we watched him a lot in class), and Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution music video directed by Todd McFarlane.

Kayla Barnes a.k.a. Nymphetamine13 was a loving mother to little Emma, a wonderful sister to Kara, a beloved daughter to Elaine, girlfriend to Josh, and faithful friend to many of us in Liveleak's Chat   more...Room.

Kayla was a beautiful young lady who had an infectious laugh and a playful personality. She had a beautiful voice which she shared with us in Papa's Karaoke Playhouse many times - she WILL be terribly missed.

Kayla committed suicide. Those she left behind are DEVASTATED. If you are hurting, PLEASE think about your friends and family before you take this drastic step and seek help.

I would REALLY appreciate it if you would copy and paste this into your own bulletin and blast it to all of YOUR friends and ask them to do the same.

Don't make the same mistake I did. PAY ATTENTION to your friends: if you don't, and something awful like this happens, you will feel the same pain and guilt Kayla's friends are feeling now - I GUARANTEE you don't want to shoulder that burden.
