Now it's Mudman's time for his first battle as a Team Draug member - the one for Arina's test doesn't count. For his first battle, Mudman will face Roomi, the cute girl from Sunsoft's Galaxy Fight.

This   more...version was created by Inverse and is a great improvement if you compare her with her Galaxy Fight self. Roomi is more aggressive and her combos are way better. Besides that, she has some new attacks and supers. Her AI is quite decent and sometimes tough. She also has a SUPER mode, like the one for Waku Waku 7 characters.

The stage is Lutecia Fields, from Galaxy Fight - this is Roomi's stage. And the song is Roomi's theme in the same game.

Tomboy galore! Team Draug's second battle and Arina's first one as a member of this team. Looks like she's going for some tough people... like Sakuraka's Sailor Jupiter. A parody of magical girls as Arina   more...versus a real magical girl as Makoto. Who will win?

Makoto Kino (aka Sailor Jupiter) is the only decent Sailor Scout in the Sailor Moon series - at least that's my opinion - and she's also a strong fighter in MUGEN. Sakuraka's version of Sailor Jupiter is heavily based on Banpresto's Sailor Moon arcade version of the Scouts.

She's quite aggressive. Her attack pattern is highly based on combos, projectiles and grabbing you in mid-air. I thought she would be a really cheap character, but actually she's more on the tough side than in the cheap one. I'm glad she isn't like that aberration called Eternal Sailor Moon.

The background is Sky Battle, based on the Ryu vs Scorpion battle in the awesome flash movie "Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat, part 2" by Proxicide. The music is Moonlit Wilderness, from Tekken 5 - which I chose since I associate it to Proxicide's SF vs MK series.

This is the first 'official' Team Draug battle. And who better to begin with this but the team's leader Leona? I'm playing as normal Leona. I won't use her 'controlled Orochi' version unless I really   more...consider it necessary. Maybe against really tough guys...

For today's match, Leona's opponent is Guy. This is Phantom of the Server's version, a very complete Guy with some Capcom vs SNK influences, like charging energy or parrying in a SFIII or P groove fashion. He's quite fast and his combos can cause a decent amount of damage if you let your guard down. Must say he's a good challenge for a character like Leona. I had a good time fighting Guy, but the second round was nearly Guy's...

The background is a bridge from one of the TMNT games, Turtles in Time arcade (thanks, galvatronic2 from YouTube for this!), and the BG music is Final Fight's Stage 5 theme, in its Namco x Capcom version. A really good remix of the original one - which also worked as Rolento's theme in Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Now it's time to see if Arina is really a good choice for Team Draug.

Instead of making her fight four foes - one per round -, Arina will have to face two fighters... at the same time! Those fighters will   more...be Fervicante's Mudman - now a member of Team Draug - and Warner's Homer Simpson.

It must be said: this match is way harder than Mudman's test, and that's because Arina, as a player's choice, isn't as strong as Mudman. Fortunately, if you know how to use her, she becomes an extraordinary fighter.

The background is the alley from Kizuna Encounter, and the music you hear during the fight is "Power Field", Kraft's theme in Rockman Zero 4. Once again, the music from the beginning is "Neo Arcadian March" and the one in the end is "Result of Mission III", both of them from Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero: Telos.  less

Too early for creating my own team? Maybe... or maybe not.

So yes, I thought it was time I could create my own team. I thought of the idea of having Leona in the team for the first time and making her   more..."recruiting" other characters.

And this is the first candidate for joining Leona in Team Draug: Mudman, the crazy spiritual warrior. He must fight Leona with her Orochi power released, zanny Krusty the Clown, the fast catgirl Felicia and the overpowered monk Thin Nen. If he survives, Leona will welcome him to Team Draug.

Matches:

- Leona by NAO&M ( Looks like NAO&M's site is gone O_o ): She has a competitive AI, but not a big thing to worry about. This version allows you to play both normal and "controlled Orochi" Leona and in all of them mixes voice samples and attacks from KOF 96 to KOF 2003. For the video, I'm using the Orochi one.

- Krusty by Warner ( http://www.freewebs.com/warner12/personajeschars.htm ): Don't expect something like Homer's Brutal AI. The only concern about Krusty is not to let his attack connect or you'll know real pain. Aside from that, he's quite easy to defeat once you get him in the right place and moment.

- Felicia by Mgbenz ( http://moogen.i-xxcell.com/char.html ): She's quite tough. I mean, when she blocks you, Felicia tends to push you away. And her hyper sand attack is quite painful, even if you block it. And don't underestimate her combos.

- Thin Nen by iho1836 ( http://myhome.naver.com/ihoo1836/ ): Like many of iho1836's creations, Thin Nen is one Hell of a fighter. He's TOUGH and not very well balanced, so he's a good challenge as a "final boss" for this test.

The background is Vegick's City, from the Freedom Fighters game done by MUGENHunter. And the music if "Go Straight!", a remix of Streets of Rage 2's first stage theme.
