Peter Robbins has been involved in UFO studies for more than 25 years, as a researcher, investigator, writer, lecturer, activist and author. He is a   more...board member of Budd Hopkins' Intruders Foundation and is co-author of Left at East Gate: A First-Hand Account of the Bentwaters-Woodbridge UFO Incident, Its Cover-Up and Investigation. Robbins has lectured extensively both in the States and abroad. His topics have included the U.K.’s RAF Bentwaters-Woodbridge UFO incident; the suppression of UFO information by the American and British Governments; James Vincent Forrestal, first Secretary of Defense and early casualty of UFO secrecy; Dr. Wilhelm Reich and UFOs; the UFO abduction phenomenon; crop circles, and the media and UFOs.

In the early 1950s,the brilliant physician and scientist Dr. Wilhelm Reich developed the cloudbuster, a simple yet effective apparatus capable of altering the weather. Some of these weather modification operations attracted UFOs - first over Maine in 1953; then on December 14, 1954 these experiments culminated in what can only be characterized as a 'battle' in the skies over Tucson.

Wild as this may sound, they were well-documented and witnessed. Reich kept the U.S. Air Force apprised of his sightings and weather work at the same time the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) was attempting to build a case against him. The interstate shipment of a medical device (unauthorized by Dr. Reich) resulted in a contempt charge, conviction, and his incarceration. Wilhelm Reich was found dead in his cell in 1957 just prior to his scheduled release.

What were the scientific dynamics behind Reich's successful alteration of weather fronts? What part did the Air Force play in his undoing? What were the specifics of his 1940-44 contacts with Albert Einstein? Was MJ-12 involved in his death? Peter Robbins spent years investigating this story and in addressing these questions, draws from Reich's out of print writings.

Today Reich's staggering contributions to science are all but forgotten, his name and work derided and distorted by all but a small core of practitioners, scholars & scientists. But none of this alters the facts of this remarkable story.

Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who: Deluxe Edition available on DVD March 4th, 2008. The special brings to life the delightful story of a charming Elephant named Horton, who while taking a bath "on the   more...15th of May in the Jungle of Nool, in the heat of the day, in the cool of the pool, he was splashing, enjoying the jungle's great joys, when Horton the elephant heard a small noise." Horton hears a faint plea for help coming from a tiny speck of dust drifting through the air. The plea comes from Dr. Hoovey, resident professor of science of Who-ville, a tiny planet no bigger than a speck of dust, which is inhabited by microscopic Whos. Horton happily obliges to take care of all the teensy Whos in Who-ville, proclaiming "after all, a person is a person, no matter how small," and tenderly rests the tiny speck of dust on a clover blossom. Horton's jungle friends however claim Horton has "flipped his lid." So the enlist the Wickersham brothers to steal the clover from Horton, and arrange to pass it along to the black-bottomed eagle, who finally drops the clover in the Great Big Patch of clovers that stretched over 100 mile long and wide. Keeping his promise to protect the Whos, so he searched and searched through the entire field to prevent the Whos from perishing.  less

In 1940, Reich built boxes called orgone accumulators to concentrate atmospheric orgone energy; some were for lab animals, and some were large enough for a human being to sit inside. Reich said orgone   more...was the primordial cosmic energy, blue in color, which he claimed was omnipresent and responsible for such things as weather, the color of the sky, gravity, the formation of galaxies, and the biological expressions of emotion and sexuality. Composed of alternating layers of ferrous metals and insulators with a high dielectric constant, his orgone accumulators had the appearance of a large, hollow capacitor. He believed that sitting inside the box might provide a treatment for cancer and other illnesses. It was the construction of these boxes that caught the attention of the press, leading to wild rumors that they were sex boxes which caused uncontrollable erections.[26] Based on experiments with the orgone accumulator, he argued that orgone energy was a negatively-entropic force in nature which was responsible for concentrating and organizing matter.

Reich posited a conjugate, life-annulling energy in opposition to orgone, which he dubbed Deadly Orgone or DOR. Reich claimed that accumulations of DOR played a role in desertification and designed a cloudbuster with which he said he could manipulate streams of orgone energy in the atmosphere to induce rain by forcing clouds to form and disperse. Reich reported observing UFOs over Orgonon, Maine and also in the Arizona skies during his drought-relief expedition into the American Southwest. Reich even claimed to have done battle with the UFOs, convinced that his cloudbuster could be deployed to extinguish the anomalous stars from the sky.

According to Reich's theory, illness was primarily caused by depletion or blockages of the orgone energy within the body. He conducted clinical tests of the orgone accumulator on people suffering from a variety of illnesses. The patient would sit within the accumulator and absorb the concentrated orgone energy. He built smaller, more portable accumulator-blankets of the same layered construction for application to parts of the body. The effects observed were claimed to boost the immune system, even to the point of destroying certain types of tumors, though Reich was hesitant to claim this constituted a cure. The orgone accumulator was also tested on mice with cancer, and on plant-growth, the results convincing Reich that the benefits of orgone therapy could not be attributed to a placebo effect. He had, he believed, developed a grand unified theory of physical and mental health.  less
