My friend Rich and I met up for some off road riding in an area that has a practice track. He brought his KX500 for me to try out. With 60 odd horsepower and weighing about 220 pounds, he jokingly refers   more...to it as "the man bike". It's geared to go about 90 mph right from the factory and it pulls like a locomotive from the basement up. It can and will loop in any gear at any time. Watch me do a few small wheelies pulling away from the camera...I'm sitting practically on the tank at the time.

At the end there's a few clips of me riding it on the practice track. You can see it easily blows the knobs off the rear wheel every time you even start to get onto the throttle.

The very last clip is me on the same corner on my RM125.  less

Me banging around on my new KTM and my buddy riding my old RM125.

I'm just uploading this so I can use it on a forum. Us riding the day after thanksgiving, 2007.

After riding about 20 miles with my friend at Clough State Park I split off on my own to ride one of my favorite trails, the River Loop. It's restricted to only dirtbikes due to how rough and narrow   more...it is.

This was my first real try filming something with the dirtbike helmetcam. Tomorrow I will be riding there again with friends, and will get some video of that. Having other riders should make the video more fun and add some perspective to some of the obstacles.

I made a mounting bracket for my dirt lid and decided to try it out by tooling around the shop's neighbor's property. I figured he'd come out side when he heard the ruckus but I do stupid things like   more...this to him frequently so for the most part he doesn't even bother anymore, haha.  less
