USD ended mixed versus the other majors after good news from the Chicago PMI. EUR remained almost unchanged. The GBP rose against the USD although the USD climbed to a 3 month high versus the Yen.

USD gained against most majors on information that the stimulus has helped the economic situation. Crude Oil gained in the forex market as well. Gold has continued to weaken because of the strong dollar.   more... More European countries are expected to have their credit rating downgraded.  less

Today most markets are open and there are a few notable indicators. EURUSD traded lower than normal. Trading stayed within a specific range. USDCHF seems stable at the moment.

EURUSD dropped yesterday. The PPI was also announced in the US and was higher than expected, which lead to a stronger US Dollar. GBPUSD didn’t record any particular movement. AUD dropped this morning.

US and UK will be releasing important economic data this week. A possible raise in US interest rates by summer may be possible. Commodities expected to drop in the wake of the stronger USD. Momentum   more...expected to turn volatile today and tomorrow in the forex market.  less
