Is this - gasps! It's a Maiko video! From me! I am disgusted at myself.
Okay, not really. I heard this song ( having been in love with the soundtrack of the musical ever since my parents gave to me as   more...a present many, many centuries ago...) again recently and to me, it screamed: MAIKO!!
Dark, evil, twisted Maiko, the way only Maiko can be*.
The story is simple to those who don't really know the context of the song.
Mai is in love with Zuko - in fact they're betrothed, have been since childhood. But by now Zuko is falling in love with Katara and Mai isn't too happy. So in this song she gives him a choice: he can have Katara (and lose out on riches he will gain through the marriage) or he can have her... if he kills Katara.
Will he? Won't he?
I'm thinking of doing a follow up to this with another song from the musical *Torn Apart* from Zuko's POV - but I want to wait until I might get Song Vegas as there's this one particular effect I want to use...

I didn't include EVERY Disney Princess in this video. What I did was include the ones with, in my opinion...the most 'Love Issues' so to speak. They aren't the conventional 'Love at First Site' Bunch...so   more...therefore I thought this song fit VERY well.  less

This was a natural video, but it didn't mean it was easy. And yes, the song's name IS Quasimodo. I love Lifehouse and this is one of their best songs. I've been meaning to make this video for actually   more...a couple of years (since I heard the song).

The video is about Quasimodo's relationships between Frollo and Esmeralda. One of fear, hate, and self-hate and the other of compassion, kindness, and love.  less

Esmeralda is a prostitute who is being abused by her "master" Frollo. Quasimodo falls in love with her and tries to help her escape her fate. Only   more...to be crushed when she won't stop.

Jealous Frollo has her arrested and when he offers her freedom as his woman she denies and spits on him severing her ties as a prostitute. Quasimodo sees this and goes to save the woman he loves.  less
