This video seemed so natural when I thought about it. The play on light and darkness in the lyrics being that is what Legend was all about. But holy hell, this video was a bitch. It was just hard for   more...the simple reason, I've been stressed. Some of the lyrics were harder than I thought, but I am happy how it came out in the end. The focus on Jack, Lily and the unicorns. They all get their parts, you get all their point of views. And of course I gave Darkness plenty of screen time :D

And yeah, the whole movie is out of order. But I wasn't trying to make a short version of the movie. Just matching the lyrics/pace here :P I didn't do many effects because this movie is a living tapestry, it didn't need any effects. But its heavy in the tranistions, mainly transparent/white fades/flashes.

FYI, I am so super happy with the 2nd, "I give the final blow/It ends tonight"

BTW, the scene with Jack jumping into the water and when he is underwater, that was filmed in Silver Springs. This year I went to that lagoon. The cliff was something the movie makers did and is no longer there, but otherwise is is pretty unchanged in all these years. Same mangrove trees and everything.  less
