The song Rooster, was written by Cantrell of AIC about his father when he served in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam. No one knows for sure how he got that nickname, but some people are inclined to believe   more...that it had to do with the patches they wore of the 'bald eagles.' Two things were certain according to Cantrell, Rooster earned that nickname, and there were no bald eagles in Vietnam.  less

Video for the single off of "Dirt". Perhaps more than any other AIC song, this is a showcase for Staley's incredible vocals. Amazing.
