I don't like the RRS. I don't like censorship either. Given the choice between the two evils, I pick the RRS. Censorship doesn't do anyone any good at all. YouTube, what's up?

I never said that the Rebel flag should be “outlawed” or “banned”, I never said that Holocaust denier videos should be banned either. My point was, “This BS is OK but MY video REMOVED, WHY is THIS?” I’ve   more...purposefully TRIED to make my videos without profanity or vulgarity because my nephew and young kids could be watching. I never said that African Americans would STILL be slaves TODAY, had the South won the Civil War, I said, “They would not be free” and I was referring to the FACT that they would have been left in slavery if the South would’ve won. You quoted me out of context and misrepresented my words, go back and watch my video AGAIN if you don’t believe me.
In my opinion, and there are numerous historians who will agree with me, that the “Question of Slavery” certainly WAS a contributing factor to the onset of the Civil War, once again; I never said that it was the only factor or the largest factor. Tell ole’ John Brown or the Abolitionists that Slavery didn’t have anything to do with the Civil War. I think everyone has the right to freedom of speech, and I have the right to agree or disagree with the topic or conclusions that people may hold; but not their RIGHT to say whatever they want to say.  less

YouTube is being FORCED by the federal government to impose this   more...censorship

Listen up people, they are implementing parts of S1959 - The Homegrown Terrorism Act - It HAS NOT PASSED THE SENATE. The language is the same. It's "Force or Violence" to promote a religious, social or political belief. Under this law if you stop someone on the street and hand them a Bible you can be considered a TERRORIST. If you advocate action against a corporation or the government you can be considered a TERRORIST.

If we don't stop this here at YouTube and raise a HUGE CONCERN right now - they will pass S1959. They will rationalize that we will ACCEPT the censorship and go further. While the request of Senator Lieberman SEEMS reasonable the bill itself has so many holes that you could interpret it MANY different ways. There are videos on this - I suggest you watch them or go to http://www.USA180.org and look at our analysis of the bill itself. We have to act NOW and get this message EVERYWHERE. Create your own video. ACT!

This video is my entry for the Alex Jones Internet Censorship video contest. NufffRespect noticed that a lot of people have entered this contest so far so he added some   more...of them to the Favorites section of his youtube channel 'NufffRespect', Please have a look at some of these other entries as well, because they'll contain info that has been omitted from my edit, and vice-versa.

In this video, from August 4th 2008, Alex discusses in detail the serious issue of Internet censorship and how it is affecting us. The only winners of this censorship are the governments and corporate oligarchies who want to severely restrict our freedom of speech and our ability to acquire factual information from independent news sites. If you sit by and do nothing about the info you hear in this video, you are effectively kissing goodbye to the Internet as we know it. By 2012, the 'powers-that-be' plan to turn the Internet into nothing more than a glorified cable TV system where access to anything other than mainstream sites will be highly restricted - just like in communist China. We cannot allow this to happen. Only the power of the people can stop this. If we fail to voice our views on this issue NOW, the Internet as we know it will be gone forever and important sites like InfoWars.com and PrisonPlanet.com will not be there for us anymore. I cannot stress enough how important this issue is. Please go to InfoWars.com and check out the links covering Internet censorship and you'll see what I mean. Copy and paste the articles and email them to everyone you know, including the mainstream news sites. Post the articles on MySpace and as many other forums as you can. NufffRespect squeezed in as much into this video as possible but he had to omit some really important stuff - such as the interview with Paul Watson - who details some of the communist-style Internet censorship that is taking place in the UK right now. I for one will not sit by and allow this to happen. I don't want to get all my news from the likes of CNN, Fox and the BBC. I want to expand my world view, not limit it.

This is a serious call to action folks. We have now reached a huge crisis point in terms of our freedom of speech and our freedom to access information from non-corporate sources. We can either do nothing and just watch the Internet being dismantled before our very eyes, or we can take action now and salvage what's left of the Internet as it stands today.

If everyone who watches this video rates it and shares it with their YouTube LiveVideo contacts, we can make our voices heard and together we can save the Internet. All it takes is for everyone to do SOMETHING, no matter how small. Please click on the "Send Video" link (displayed below the video itself), and send this video out to all of your contacts on YouTube. It'll only take 20 seconds of your time, but it will have a big impact in waking people up to what's being done to our freedom of speech and our freedom to access information. It took me a whole day to edit this video. All I ask of you is 20 seconds of your time to rate the video and send it out to your contacts. But if you feel as strongly about Internet censorship as I do, you'll also go to InfoWars.com and PrisonPlanet.com and start pasting the articles on this subject all over the net.
