We took Belle, Banks & Black Dog to the Hanover dog park to let them run. It was just a little windy and cold but plenty of dogs showed up. I ended up not filming a lot of it because I was shaking   more...so much, even with long-johns on.  less

Footage of the aftermath of the tornado that touched down in Camilla, GA in the early morning hour of February 14, 2000. This part has footage of me looking for stuff to salvage. You will see a news reporter   more...come up from the local TV station (Newscenter 10 WALB) to interview me. My sister Amanda that was filming made me laugh one time while I was talking to the guy. To be honest, I was so "out of it" that I didn't even really remember doing the interview until friends had told me they saw me on TV.  less

This is Part 1 of video footage of the aftermath of a tornado that touched down just as it was turning to February 14, 2000 (hit right about midnight) in Camilla, GA. It destroyed my sister Michelle and   more...her families' home and my mobile home that was right around the corner from her. 23 people were killed, including my best friend Dot and my next-door neighbor. This and the following parts mainly has footage of the home of my sister Michelle, her husband David and their 3 children, Brittany, Blaine and Brandon. As you may know, Blaine was killed in an ATV accident in 2003 only yards from where this footage was taken. You will see him throughout the footage (in different parts). In other parts you will see what was left of my mobile home that was behind their house and even see the local TV station (WALB 10) coming up to interview me. The video footage is somewhat narrated by my youngest sister Amanda and some other parts by my eldest sister Lisa.  less

This is Part 2 of the footage of the aftermath of one of the many tornados that hit in the early morning hour of February 14, 2006, which was Valentine's Day and my sister Michelle and her husband David's   more...12th Wedding Anniversary. Their house was completely destroyed. The only part you see standing was the new bathroom they had just added on about 3-6 months before the tornado hit. In this part you will also see my mobile home that was destroyed. It was a little ways back and diagonal to where my sister's house was. The only part of it that was left was my bedroom. Which leads me to another story; where was I during the tornado? It was a Sunday and I had just got off from working a 12 hour shift at Cooper Tire at 7pm and even though I was very tired, I decided to go out to this club called Brother's in Tallahassee, FL. On Sunday nights they have 80s night. And that is where I was. When I was coming home I seen tons of blue lights flashing and I thought it was a roadblock. The police told me about the tornado and I told them where I lived and they finally let me through. I went straight to my sister's house and when I got there, I couldn't believe what my headlights were shining on. Their van had been picked up and thrown through the front of the house.
I want to say "Thanks" to The Red Cross, FEMA, SBA and everyone that helped with the cleanup.  less

I'm suprised this hasn't been done before or more often. It just seemed natural. Not only because of the original music video for the song, but also the lyrics. Even Belle's part was perfectly suited,   more...the whole part about "get me right out of this god-forsaken town" and "forget everything".

Also, for those who have good ears....yes, this version is neither the radio edit, the music video edit, or the album version. It is actually a mix between the radio edit and music video edit. I took the beginning of the music video off and added the beginning of the radio edit. Reason being, the music video edit has that choppy sound and I didn't really like it.  less
