In order to get me out of my miserable self pitty depression Stacie decides to give me some exercsise by climbing a mountain. Day 36 with NO bike...In this installment we listen to a Korean Radio Station   more...talking about the ICEMAN. We then take a break from climbing to visit a Buddaist Temple nestled in the mountain.  less

First part of a two day ride to Donghae, Korea. Seven hours one direction gives you a lot of time to think. In this video I rant about brainless car drivers and think back to my early days in Korea.

Leaving Texas Street, some on-lookers enjoying the "Dog and Pony" show. Big D A.K.A.(pusanguy) and I enjoy a boys night out, we cruise the downtown streets of Busan at night. Taking in all   more...the neon...and just enjoying ourselves. I discuss the unusually warm eather for this time of year. Obviously this was shout about 3 weeks ago, when I still had the bike. Part two and (final) ...(Thank GOD)..of the mountain climbing trip. Looking back it wasnt all that bad, but man I did realize how badly outta shape Ive become. This is the second day of a two-day ride. There are no pictures or video from the first day becuase it was raining too hard. The scenery on this ride is some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever   more...ridden through. There were so many shades of green. The rice fields at approximately 2:20 remaining were such a bright green that it literally hurt my eyes to look at it for a long time.  less

Part 3 of the Donghae Run. On day two we ride around the area and then start for home. Watch as more... only minutes after starting for home, Big Daddy (aka "Pusanguy" on Livevideo), riding   more...at around 110 km/h, very nearly slams into a long-legged, young beauty who thought it would be a good idea to try to sprint across the street against the lights.

Only some serious break jamming by Big D. saved himself from injury and the lovely lass from death. Big D. missed the young woman by only two steps. Had his breaking not slowed him down, it would have been very, very ugly. Iceman says Big D. locked his wheels. Big D. was too freaked out to notice.

We save a lot of time taking a road that is off limits to motorcycles. While on that road, we play car tag with a Korean Army jeep.  less

Continuing on toward our destination. Cruising comfortably at about 100mph (160km/h) I get a quick burst of that Euphoria I call "the biker rush." Part two of the two-day ride to Donghae. In this installment, we continue riding up the coast, taking detours, frightening villagers, and avoiding giant crab attacks.

Donghae Run Part 4 - The Final Chapter - We arrive home...eventually... We were riding hard and fast for about 3 hours, when Big D.'s belt drive snapped while starting from a streetlight. We waited for   more...about 5 1/2 hours before the truck arrived to take us back home. A beautiful six-hour ride turned into a long nightmare.  less

A few comments on waving at other bikers and everybody complaining that nobody else waves. On a production note, I noticed that my head is darting around a lot and I am checking my mirrors and other   more...cars about 5 times a second. I think that is just me being overly caution and suspicious of other drivers after my accident. I'm trying to cut down on that "long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs" behavior. I apologize to anyone who gets motion sickness watching this.  less

Breaking news from Pusan, South Korea. A ferris wheel gondola at the World Carnival mobile amusement park set up across the street from my house broke loose and crashed down on to another gondola. 5   more...people fell 65 feet to their death.  less

After a couple of months of being swamped with work, motorcycle club, and personal issues, I'm back into video mode again. This is just a pointless video to get me back in the video mode again.

The only thing predictable about the Korean weather is its unpredictability. You can leave the house on a warm sunny morning and find yourself in a freezing downpour within a matter of hours.

I hadn't   more...planned on making a video of me riding in the rain, but that's how it ended up. Gray skies became darker. A few raindrops fell here and there. Before I knew it, I was caught in a heavy rain without any rain gear. My leathers were my only protection against the elements.  less
