Starting life in the underground as a bootleg at the end of   more...'05, David's 'Love Don't Let Me Go' disappeared on a smutty three day bender with The Egg classic, 'Walking Away' and somehow re-emerged as a body-popping b-line laced with cheeky electro reverb and staccato synths. Its head hurt too. Hangover aside, 'Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)' became the club anthem of summer '06.

Sarah Bettens-Wills (born September 23, 1972, Kapellen, Belgium) is the former lead singer of the Belgian band K's Choice. Sarah and her brother Gert Bettens were the two popular   more...faces of the band. She is known for her enigmatic, smoky, raspy, husky voice. The band is popular in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, and had toured in the U.S. with The Verve Pipe, Tonic, Alanis Morissette and the Indigo Girls, as well as on their own. Sarah has maintained a successful solo career as well by providing vocals for music soundtracks, including "Underworld", "Wild Things", "Zus and Zo" and more recently "Leef!".

In 2003 K's Choice decided to split ways for a while, with siblings Gert and Sarah exploring solo projects. Sarah made a mini-album of her own, called Go. Her first full-length solo album, Scream, was released in Europe on March 14, 2005, and in the USA on August 23, 2005. Sarah currently lives in Tennessee, USA.

Sarah has had a large lesbian fanbase since the beginning of her career with K's Choice, but it wasn't until recently that she announced she was as well. She discusses this on FaceCulture.nl, as well as on AfterEllen.com.

One of her European singles off the album "Scream", Come Over Here, has been licensed for the American series L Word for episode 409 of season 4. (Sarah will be playing at the L-Word party at the Dinah Shore Weekend.) The song also appears on the premier Music With a Twist compilation (Sony).

Bettens' next album is a solo album with producer Brad Wood (Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate, Ben Lee). Titled Shine, it is planned for release in 2007. This full-cd was distributed for free with the October 13 edition of the Flemish newspaper De Morgen in Belgium and sold 180,000 copies. Normally this newspaper sells 95,000 copies.

After having played Michigan's Womyn's Music Festival in 2006 solo, she organized an all female band for a performance in 2007.  less

Stunts to publicise the forthcoming Simpsons film have begun in earnest. A 180ft image of Homer Simpson waving a doughnut aloft has appeared adjacent to the ancient Cerne Abbas giant, the 17th Century   more...chalk fertility symbol in Dorset. Though Homer is drawn in biodegradeable paint, local pagans aren't amused, saying that the proximity of Homer is disrespectful. Ann Bryn-Evans, joint Wessex district manager for the Pagan Federation adds that they'll be doing some "rain magic" to wash it away [are you serious Ann? IMAFO half of England is underwater right now, without you dancing around Stonehenge asking for more... ROFLOLPMS]. This is a time lapse showing Homer 'appearing' on the hillside.  less
