Today marks the one year anniversary since I uploaded my very first Avatar music video. It took 7 days to acquire one comment on that video, and another 7 days for a second. People have since commented   more...numerous times, often with phrases like "From humble beginnings the great do rise," which can be taken two ways in my mind.
I have many reasons for choosing this song. You may be familiar with an AMV to the same song by FancyClancy, a video I credit as my one greatest inspiration for making Avatar videos. I figured it was time I returned to the source of my newfound passion.
This is not your typical Outside Looking In Production, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. It means a lot to me.

Believe it or not, I bought this song in hopes of making a Zuko tribute with it. Instead, it somehow morphed into a trailer.

Basically, it's a crash-course/season   more...3.5 trailer of Avatar. Because my family has recently taken an interest in what I do, I've been making trailers in a feeble attempt to teach them about Avatar. I think this one certainly does a better job of that than the Back From Hiatus Trailer.

I started this video last Monday, after watching the credit sequence of the movie "Rendition." I thought it was cool and I wanted to try it out; you'll see the similarity in the way I show "Avatar The Last Airbender" at the end. But mostly, this video exists because the Corner Stone Cues finally put out another CD, which rocks if I do say so myself. I bought the whole thing and was instantly drawn to Frigga. The rest is history. Very recent history.

One year ago, I came across an Avatar fan video on youtube. It was a curious little project, barely a minute and a half long, for the Fire Nation's leading lady. Toph and Katara vs. Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee in a war of words and bending; whilst each side assures the other that they "ain't no hollaback girl." It's pretty fun. Took forever but it's nearly   more...perfect. All flashes, etc. were of course done by hand, so this is basically me flaunting my apparant ability for timings. : )
