hello yet again

Alright, I have this thing where I'm doing all of Les Mis as Avatar.....

This is the first installment.....

What's going on: Zuko (Valjean) is in prison for theft. Now he is able to go on parole. His parole   more...officer, Zhao (Javert) tells him about it. So Zuko is going town-to-town, and he stays at a bishop's house. Zuko leaves in the middle of the night and steals some silver also. The police catch him, and bring him back to Iroh (The Bishop). Iroh lies for Zuko, claiming they were gifts. The police leave, and Iroh makes Zuko swear to give himself up to God, and become a better man.  less

I had to go into work on a saturday. So what else to do but make a vlog. :) This was taken a few weeks ago in mid Dec 2006. Sorry it's really long... probably my longest vlog yet.. and maybe slightly   more...depressing too. It is also kinda half MV.. just an excuse to share some music on my playlist, and try out an idea.

Banksy is a well-known pseudo-anonymous[1] English graffiti artist. He is believed to be a native of Yate, South Gloucestershire, near Bristol[1] and born in 1974,[2] but there is substantial public uncertainty   more...about his identity and personal and biographical details.[3] According to Tristan Manco, Banksy "was born in 1974 and raised in Bristol, England. The son of a photocopier engineer, he trained as a butcher but became involved in graffiti during the great Bristol aerosol boom of the late 1980s."[4] His artworks are often-satirical pieces of art on topics such as politics, culture, and ethics. His street art, which combines graffiti writing with a distinctive stencilling technique, is similar to Blek le Rat, who began to work with stencils in 1981 in Paris and members of the anarcho-punk band Crass who maintained a graffiti stencil campaign on the London Tube System in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His art has appeared in cities around the world.[5] Banksy's work was borne out of the Bristol underground scene which involved collaborations between artists and musicians.

Asked about his technique, Banksy said "I use whatever it takes. Sometimes that just means drawing a moustache on a girl's face on some billboard, sometimes that means sweating for days over an intricate drawing. Efficiency is the key".[38]
Stencils are traditionally hand drawn or printed onto sheets of acetate or card, before being cut out by hand. Because of the secretive nature of Banksy's work and identity, it is uncertain what techniques he uses to generate the images in his stencils, though it is assumed he uses computers for some images due to the photorealistic nature of much of his work.  less
