Jack Bauer gets a DUI

Amy Goodman was unlawfully arrested in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota at approximately 5 p.m. local time. Police violently manhandled Goodman, yanking her arm, as they arrested her.
Goodman was arrested   more...while attempting to free two Democracy Now! producers who were being unlawfully detained. They are Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar. Kouddous and Salazar were arrested while they carried out their journalistic duties in covering street demonstrations at the Republican National Convention. Goodman's crime appears to have been defending her colleagues and the freedom of the press.
Democracy Now! stands by Goodman, Kouddous and Salazar and condemns this action by Twin Cities law enforcement as a clear violation of the freedom of the press and the First Amendment rights of these journalists.
During the demonstration in which they were arrested law enforcement officers used pepper spray, rubber bullets, concussion grenades and excessive force. Several dozen others were also arrested during this action.
Amy Goodman is one of the most well-known and well-respected journalists in the United States. She has received journalism's top honors for her reporting and has a distinguished reputation of bravery and courage. The arrest of Goodman, Kouddous and Salazar is a transparent attempt to intimidate journalists from the nation's leading independent news outlet.  less

Peaceful onlookers were arrested by police for reading the Constitution
while a pro-war group was allowed full freedom of speech in Washington
DC recently in another flagrant example of how American cops are now
the enforcers of a tyrannical police state.

Police are required to swear an oath to uphold and defend the
Constitution but this didn't stop them from kidnapping members of the
Code Pink group, who gathered on a nearby sidewalk to calmly express
their disagreement with a Neo-Con pro-war event taking place nearby by
reading the bill of rights.

The pro-occupation group "Vets for Freedom" held a rally at Upper
Senate Park, Washington DC, on Saturday September 22nd. Their
guest speakers included Neo-Con criminals John McCain, Johny
Isakson and Joe Lieberman.

A common theme of the event was that U.S. troops in Iraq were there
to "protect the freedom" of the Iraqi people, but this freedom didn't seem
to apply to the group of American citizens that decided to use their first
amendment right of free speech to voice their dissent.

Five members of Code Pink were arrested, one for reading the
Constitution, as police refused to say what the charges were and
refused to answer any questions while demonstrators were hauled into
paddy wagons.

The events echo similar incidents across the pond in Britain, where a
woman was questioned by police and entered into the anti-terror
database for reading a mainstream newspaper that had an anti-war
headline.

In October 2005, another woman was arrested and convicted for reading
out names of British soldiers killed in Iraq at central London's Cenotaph.

Much to the chagrin of Neo-Con trolls who attempted to skew the events
seen in the video by claiming the Code Pink group were heckling
parents of slain U.S. soldiers, one of the (5) Arrested was an Iraq
Veteran herself.

"Screw you, anonymous coward. I served my country honorably and
proudly - and with my head, not my knees. Dissent is patriotic. If you
want to work for a king, go flip burgers," retorted one individual in
response to Neo-Cons who tried to justify the arrests on Internet
messageboards.

I guess this is what can happen, when perverted grown men/Mormon leaders, get used to meeting in complete privacy, behind closed doors, with young boys and girls, asking them probing sexual questions, like if they masturbate and look at porno. For me, it started at the age of 11 or 12 and continued on through my mission and then at BYU.

Of course, it's all inspired by the Mormon God and they are just doing what they are taught to do, by complete sex perverts like Boyd K. Packer, who gave an entire talk about how little boys "shouldn't fondle their little factories", because it will speed up and make them want to do it more. The Mormon church teaches that "wet dreams" is how little boys and grown men, are to relieve their sexual desires.

Robert Bentley Jackson, was found guilty of videotaping a 14 year old girl undressing, without her knowledge. It's possible that he was just trying to be like Joseph Smith, when he hooked up with the 14 year old Helen Mar Kimball or his 16 year old maid Fanny Alger, all in SECRET.

The Mormon Hierarchy always teaches that we need to look up to Joseph Smith as an example and to be like him, to emulate him and apparently that is exactly what Robert Jackson was doing. What a disgrace!!

Robert Bentley Jackson, 64, was sentenced in 4th District Court Tuesday(May 23, 2006), on two second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was arrested in February after Jackson's adult daughter found a video file on Jackson's BYU laptop.

Jackson was an assistant professor of information systems in the Marriott School of Management at BYU and resigned after charges were filed.

The case was resolved through a plea agreement involving the Utah County attorney's and Utah attorney general's offices, said John Allan, Jackson's attorney.

Without pleading guilty, there was the possibility of federal charges of production of child pornography a charge that carries a minimum mandatory sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison.

Deputy County Attorney Donna Kelly said, ``Because of these crimes being so devastating to the family and the victim, we would also ask that the court order him to write a letter of apology to her in which he accepts responsibility for these crimes and apologizes for the crimes.''

Allan said his client already had written a letter of apology as part of sex-offender therapy but had been unable to send it because of an order not to contact the victim.

``Your honor, I take full responsibility,'' Jackson said during the hearing.

Deputy County Attorney David Sturgill said at the time of the guilty plea that he would recommend Jackson serve two  less
