My first Basilisk video. This was supposed to be a trailer/teaser of sorts, but not in the sense my Wolf's Rain one was at all. I used the song 'Long Long Time Ago' from the Pan's Labyrinth Soundtrack   more...and slightly tinted the clips sepia to give it an archaic feel. This basically just tells the story of how Oboro Iga and Gennosuke Kouga first met, how their relationship grew into love and then how it was taken away from them.

Holy crap this thing nearly killed my computer. O_o; And I think so far, this is the one project I worked the longest putting together (took about two weeks to gather all the audio/video clips I wanted).   more...Oh yeah, and you may want to turn your volume up when you watch this, because the audio I ripped off the DVDs isn't that loud...I raised it to the highest volume level, but it's still not that great. Most everything can be heard at a certain volume level, except maybe a couple Cheza or Cher lines (they speak so softly -.-;).

Anyway, now that the technical bit is out of the way...I had been wanting to try making a trailer video for a while now, and Wolf's Rain seemed like the obvious choice for my first. I made this from scratch, so it's not an anime parody of an existing trailer...it's entirely something I compiled from clips from the show. It turned out being twice as long as I expected, but I'm sure there have been official trailers that came to nearly 5 minutes long before. ^^;

This is my finale trailer. It doesn't look so much at the action sequences we love Avatar for; it more focuses on my favorite aspect: the way the characters have grown and changed. I wanted to have the   more...entire thing done before July 12th, but that may not be possible. So I'm uploading part 1 now, and will add the finished version when I finish it over the next couple of days.
