The message I wanted to convey in this AMV was this...


Sasuke is becoming the person he hates the most - Itachi. Even though he's training to kill Itachi, he's destroying the lives of the people close to him, and he's becoming cold and distant - like Itachi.

The line "what I really am" could be interpreted is referring to many aspects of Sasuke (like an avenger) but I thought of it as "being like Itachi". So it's a bit angsty, and when Sasuke is fighting Itachi, he's also fighting his inner demons. (of course this is my fanciful interpretation, but it makes the AMV more dramatic. X3 So I guess Sasuke has fears that he's really like Itachi.)

The other way I wanted to convey that Sasuke is becoming Itachi was with the line "are we having fun yet" - the first two times Itachi is saying it to Sasuke (in Sasuke's mind) and the last time Sasuke is saying those words to Naruto.

And I'm really sorry about the credits at the end - I'm still new/experimenting with effects. This was made using Premiere CS3, btw.

This an update explaining where I've been for the past month as well as a little Live Video angst

Angst, my second year production. This time I had some performing arts actors to collaberate with. Some crazed late nights to finish shooting this one. My pal Dion Geaney was on camera (see the rider   more...in Return of the Mooses).
Rajiv wrote the basic script and we both sat down at Auckland Library and blocked out the shots. Rajiv has since appeared in numerous ads and even starred in a recent feature film! Paul the guy playing the mysterious doctor is also an acting force to be reckoned with but even more impressive I felt was the performance by Michelle Civil as the illfated girlfriend. She was actually a dance student rather than an actress but I think she did very well considering the working environment and dramatic demands of the production.
Anyhow, here you go!! I'm looking forward to shooting some more of Nocturnal after I spend the next month gearing up the Werewolf for the NZ Body Art Awards. I'll keep you all posted!!  less
