The day before this gathering, half a million people from around the world marched on Washington DC to protest the war. The mainstream news media somehow portrayed this Pro-War Rally as an equal voice   more...of opposition even though there were only around two hundred war supporters in attendance.
The next day, three hundred and seventy eight protesters volunteered to get arrested in a peaceful civil disobedience action. Almost twice the amount of people willingly went to jail to voice their opposition to the war than there were here at this rally to support it.

Concepcion has been keeping her vigil for 25 years 24/7. When I first saw her, I thought she looked demented, until I listened to what she had to say. It dawned on me that what she is protesting and standing   more...against is infinitely much more insane than she could ever look.
