On Monday, September 17, 2007, we took in a new rescue. This time instead of a cat, we took in a two foot Iguana named Spike. As you can see, Spike has a growth on the side of his face. In this video   more...Spike is enjoying shredded carrots.

On Thursday, September 29th, we took her to our exotic vet who removed the growth. She is culturing it to see what we are dealing with. Somehow, all of Spike's front claws were missing before we took her in. According to the vet they may never grow back.  less

Noah was a bottle baby. He still likes to nurse on fingers, and also the occassional toe or ear lobe. Victoria keeps meowing trying to get the camera to look at her instead of Noah.

I rescued a Brussels Griffon Doggie. So, I picked up Sasha the Brussels Griffon and drove over to Petland to get grooming supplies. If I could, I would have hundreds of animals! I love them so much!

I made this video because as a strong supporter of my local Humane Society, They sent out a flyer saying they had a lot of bunnies up for adoption. In my area 95% of the people that are adopting pets   more...go for either a dog or cat, and yesterday when I got this flyer, They were asking if you are looking for a pet, would you please consider adopting a Bunny Rabbit instead of a dog or cat, till there numbers are down. so if anyone is looking for a pet, I'm sure your local shelter will have pets other than dogs and cats. Why don't you check it out, if you are looking for a pet. This is Daisy. A friend rescued her from Lafayette Animal Control.and called us to see if we could take care of her and find her a home. I was holding her today, when I noticed she makes a lot of noise   more...when I pet her across her left side. When I pet her along the back of her head and neck, she is quiet. But, when I touch the area where I point to near the end of this video, she always makes noise. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with her.  less

Our hurricane proof cat shelter foundation is now dry! Next step is removing the wood frame. Then, once that is done we can put up the outside walls and roof!
