2. Fox News featured a "man in the street" eye witness who explained
in strangely formal language the science behind why the towers
collapsed when most engineers and firemen were utterly baffled and in
shock by what had just taken place.

3. CBS featured a Bush administration insider (and not identified as
such) as a guest who actively worked to dissuade Dan Rather (and
viewers) from speculating that there must have been explosive charges
placed in the buildings for them to have collapsed the way they did.

How was it that these stories - based on no fact, no research and no
inquiry - appeared in full blown form so quickly on US news networks
and then became part of the core myths of what happened on 9/11?

Were these stories prepared in advance?

There's an old intelligence saying that "once is happenstance, twice is
coincidence, but three times is enemy action."

Because most of these clips ran only once and were not repeated after
they'd done their job, it made it difficult, if not impossible, for viewers to
analyze them critically.

Now, thanks to the magic of video tape and a few people who
immediately started taping the news after the attacks, we have this
important evidence that at the very least these attacks appear to have
been anticipated and prepared for by forces that have the ability to exert

Mysterious Power-Downs in the World Trade Center

Did the World Trade Center towers undergo a deliberate "power-down"
on the weekend prior to the 9-11 terrorist attacks? According to Scott
Forbes,   more...a senior database administrator for Fiduciary Trust, Inc. -- a
high-net investment bank which was later acquired by Franklin
Templeton -- this is precisely what took place. Forbes, who was hired
by Fiduciary in 1999 and is now stationed at a U.K. branch office, was
working on the weekend of September 8-9, 2001, and said that his
company was given three weeks advance notice that New York's Port
Authority would take out power in the South Tower from the 48th floor
up. The reason: the Port Authority was performing a cabling upgrade to
increase the WTC's computer bandwidth. However, there seems to be
no logical reason why the electricity need be shut down in order to
upgrade computer bandwidth.

The Fiduciary Trust was one of the WTC's first occupants after it was
erected, and a "power-down" had never been initiated prior to this
occasion. Forbes also stated that his company put forth a huge
investment in time and resources to take down their computer systems
due to the deliberate power outage. This process, Forbes recalled,
began early Saturday morning (September 8th) and continued until
mid-Sunday afternoon (September 9th) -- approximately 30 hours. As a
result of having its electricity cut, the WTC's security cameras were
rendered inoperative, as were its I.D. systems, and elevators to the
upper floors. Forbes states that there were plenty of engineers going
in-and-out of the WTC who had free access throughout the building due
to its security system being knocked out.

Even though these disclosures could jeopardize his current
employment, Forbes has stepped forward because, "I have mailed this
information to many people, including the 9/11 Commission, but no one
seems to be registering these facts."

Following the World Trade Center collapses, thermal hot spots with
temperatures in excess   more...of 2,000°F existed deep within the wreckage of
the buildings. These temperatures were sustained for several weeks. In
perfect conditions the maximum temperature that can be reached by
hydrocarbons such as jet fuel burning in air is around 1,500° F. When
the World Trade Center collapsed the deeply buried fires would have
been deprived of oxygen and their temperatures would have significantly
decreased. Therefore, why was the temperature at the core of "the pile"
over 1,000° F hotter than the maximum burning temperature of jet fuel
several weeks after the collapses? There were no infernos in either of
the twin towers before they collapsed, so what caused the hot spots
deep in their wreckage? Pools of liquidized molten steel were found in
the rubble of the twin towers as well as WTC building 7, which collapsed
mysteriously in 6 seconds late in the afternoon - even though it wasn't
even hit by a plane! What caused the steel to melt? How did it stay
molten for so long after the collapses? Five months after the collapses,
molten steel was being pulled from the World Trade Center wreckage.
Conventional fires cannot explain the above, but thermite can. A
thermite reaction generates extraordinarily high temperatures (4500° F)
and provides a credible explanation for the fires, hot spots and molten
steel (a by-product of the thermite reaction) found in the collapsed
buildings. The angled cut of the steel beams found in the rubble of the 3
collapsed buildings occurs in exactly the manner that shaped charges
slice through steel beams to control the way they fall. Dense white
smoke was seen at the base of the towers long before they collapsed.
However, the smoke rising from the wreckage should have been black,
not white. Thermite gives off dense white smoke with very little odor.
Thermite used with sulfur produces even more powerful results. Sulfur
residue was found in the molten steel of the rubble of the 3 collapsed

WTC7 Implosion
Everyone remembers the Twin Towers exploding at 9:59AM and
10:28AM EDT on September 11, 2001. Comparatively few people can
recall that there was a third massive skyscraper, also a part of   more...the
World Trade Center, which fell very rapidly to the ground on that day.
This was World Trade Center Building 7. One reason that few remember
WTC Building 7's collapse is that after September 11th it has been
treated, both in the media and in The 9/11 Commission Report, as if it
didn't happen.

The total collapse of the third huge skyscraper late in the afternoon
September 11th was reported as if it were an insignificant footnote...
most people never saw video of Building 7's collapse... Incredibly, it is
virtually impossible to find any mention of Building 7 in newspapers,
magazines, or broadcast media reports after September 11th."

The Commission avoids another embarrassing problem -- explaining
how WTC 7 could have collapsed, also virtually at free-fall speed -- by
simply not mentioning the collapse of this building.

The collapse of Building 7 at 5:20PM EDT was in itself a major event;
the sudden and unexplained fall to earth of a 47-story steel-framed
skyscraper is certainly news. Why has there been almost no mention of
this in the US media, and why was there no mention of Building 7's
collapse in The 9/11 Commission Report? These are questions of great
significance, and they cry out for answers. To be able to approach any
kind of explanation, however, first some pertinent and verified facts of
the Building 7 aspect of 9/11 need to be scrutinized.

The fires in WTC 7 were very few and small, and certainly not evenly
distributed, so a perfect collapse was impossible, yet it came down in
perfect symmetry in just 6 seconds. WTC leaseholder Larry Silverstein
said to the fire department commander "the smartest thing to do is pull
it." Firefighters withdrawing from the area stated the building was going
to "blow up". The roof of WTC 7 visibly crumbled and the building
collapsed perfectly into its footprint. Molten steel and partially
evaporated steel members were found in the debris.

There can be only one conclusion as to what happened to WTC 7 - it
was demolished.

Silverstein Properties made billions from the insurance policies he set
up on the WTC complex just a few weeks before 9/11. He specifically
took out insurance policies to cover terrorist attacks, then a few weeks
later 9/11 happened. What are the odds on that?

anyone with an ounce of common sense can watch the videos and
understand that building's don't commit suicide - and yet Silverstein, the
government, and their propaganda arm Popular Mechanics, are wedded
to the myth that the structure fell as a result of fire damage. They are
beholden to this explanation because any revision on their behalf would
undermine the entire sequence of events on 9/11 and call into question

At a recent speaking engagement in Austin Texas, Senator John Kerry
responded to a question about WTC Building 7 by concluding that
according to his information, the building was brought down as a result
  more...of a controlled demolition, directly contradicting the official line that the
structure fell as a result of fire and debris damage.

WTC Building 7 was a 47-story building in the WTC complex that
collapsed at 5:20pm on September 11. The building had been
structurally reinforced and was not hit by a plane yet collapsed in a
uniform implosion within its own footprint in a matter of seconds after
sustaining relatively light debris and fire damage following the collapse
of the twin towers.

News networks like BBC and CNN were reporting that the building had
collapsed before it fell , indicating that the media were being handed a
script of events that had yet to even unfold.

Ground zero EMT's, firefighters and police were all told hours in advance
to clear a collapse zone for Building 7 as it was going to be "brought
down."

Questioned on WTC 7 by members of Austin 9/11 Truth Now at a Book
People event in Austin Texas, Kerry responded, "I do know that that
wall, I remember, was in danger and I think they made the decision
based on the danger that it had in destroying other things, that they did

This video has already become a massive discussion topic all over the Internet at the moment. The story concerns a live news report from New York on 11th September 2001 that was aired on BBC World. The   more...BBC reporter in New York (Jane Standley) and the newscaster in the London studio (Phil Hayton) announced that the WTC7 building had collapsed and they described the reason for the collapse. However, this report was aired 26 minutes before WTC7 had actually collapsed and the building could clearly be seen still standing behind Jane Standley’s shoulder as she was discussing with Phil Payton what had happened. This conversation continued for some time, but about 5 minutes before WTC7 actually collapsed, Jane Standley’s live video feed from New York mysteriously gets cut.

This story has gained huge momentum on the Internet, and the video has quickly become YouTube’s most viewed and discussed video of all time because of the obvious implication that the BBC had prior knowledge of 9/11. In Mr Porter’s blog, he reveals that all of the BBC’s news footage from 9/11 has been lost.

Whichever way you want to look at this whole episode, it doesn’t look good for the BBC. Either the BBC had prior knowledge of the events of 9/11 and are trying to cover it up, or the BBC is severely incompetent at reporting and archiving important news events.

Whether the BBC had foreknowledge or not, I’m surprised that this story hasn’t been reported in the mainstream news, not least because of Richard Porter’s revalation that all of the BBC’s 9/11 footage has been lost, and the fact that he rufuses to answer the question as to the source of the BBC’s report that WTC7 had collapsed.

It is rather astonishing that in their live news report, the BBC not only chose the correct building (WTC7), they also correctly described the cause of the collapse in line with the official version of events. The WTC7 building was situated around 300 metres from the twin towers. No steel framed building in the history of mankind had ever collapsed as a result of a fire, and yet on 11/9/2001, we had 3 well structured steel buildings collapse in one day, all as a result of fire, all in the same part of the same city, and all owned by the same man! What are the odds on that?!!!

In my humble opinion, the reason why the orchestrators of 911 gave out a press release to CNN and the BBC, was because they wanted to get the "official story" into the minds of the public at the earliest opportunity while we were still in a state of trauma from seeing the twin towers collapse. The official story being that debris from the twin towers hit WTC7 and the intense fire caused it to collapse. The only problem for them was that they didn't think that the BBC and CNN would do their reports straight away - before WTC7 was actually pulled.  less
