My birthday present

This is the middle of the dragon. I believe the Gravity Cavity (my personal favorite corner complex) is in the beginning. Look for relatively quick elevation changes while turning, and a lotta skidmarks   more...in the road.  less

Some will love it, some will hate it. Fact is, I love my bike and she loves me, so I'm dedicating the music in this one to her. :)

I know, the music doesn't really fit too horribly well. I had limited choices for the amount of time it had to fill. Some of it fits the ride, some doesn't, and if you don't like it....well....oops. The   more...song is about 7:30 long, and there's a bit of discussion about the museum we went to. You've probably seen the videos from there. Well, we got in free. Why? Because I'm from Texas. :P  less

Little chat about the trip as a whole.

This is just some of the ride back from Bald River Falls leading back to the Cherohala Skyway. Was just a nice relaxed ride with some AMAZING scenery. Too bad you can't see into the river from the vantage   more...point.  less

Watch the video, see the FAIL in detail. NOTE: The camera angle and zoom ratio from the helmet gives the illusion that the bike is taking a strange line. I rarely if ever cross any lines while riding   more...unless it is in the process of passing only with a clear vision of the road and oncoming traffic. The only line that was touched by the tires was the white line on the corner where I left the pavement. I was in a full skid due to worn tires, dew soaked road, and MY FAILURE to adjust my speed to properly evaluate those conditions. The ONLY way that this could have been avoided is that if I would have slowed down.  less
