The layering techniques   more...and softwares used for these simulations seemingly blended real and digital images - but the EXACT way this was done is frankly not for us to define. However, the technology certainly exists and it is naive to think this was difficult/impossible to achieve. In "CHOPPED OUT", I compare two shots - 11 minutes apart - both of them showing a reversing helicopter in the same corner of the screen and over very much the same spot of Manhattan. Additionally, both camera shots 'catch' the chopper at the end of a wide zoom out action. The odds of all these similarities occuring in two distinct shots, 11 min apart in time are pretty close to nil.
