A path along those cliffs between the two harbors would have no doubt been pretty spectacular Too bad the taxi drivers put the kibosh on it. It is understandable, though.

Thanks for the marina shots, P...gave me my boat fix for the morning. The way they tie-up gets a lot of boats into a relatively small area, but sure makes getting on and off board a pain..particularly when carrying stuff or having partook of an adult more...

Yeah, it really is a beautiful place. Lots of boats always seem to be docked so you are probably right about most spending a long time in there. They also have lots of boats dry docked for maintenance etc, I forgot to record around them :(

A walkway would be nice. I've got flat feet myself, so too much walking == sore feet.

The tides are more extreme towards the polls because of geometry. The position of the moon also matters. The further south the moon is, the more extreme the tides more...

Man, I've never walked so much as I did on this holiday. One day I got lost and walked that much I could hardly bend my legs the following day :(
