I am also at three site's YT,LV and VH and became a member in that order. Also the number of people are like a state compared to a city, a city compared to a village.
The only video I have done was posted on YT and VH. Not even a peep from the one's on
more...
YT but got commented on from a poplar YT'ber on VH.
Mainly because VH has no subscriptions but only a RSS feed.
That forces people on VH to look at the most recent video's. Where if you are not well known you have a better chance of being noticed.
You can also be noticed the most from your comments and blogs are also on VH, for the comments and blogs with the connected feed are posted on the front and recent page.
I've been on YT longer then LV and I still feel like a stranger in a strange land but LiveVideo will be my home base.
VH is the most like LV and also has people I know from YT & LV;two worlds in one.
I am finding out that little icon that is sitting above these words that is cyber typed here, that follow you around, is everything.
It helps connect with people. Its a still video who people recognize and connect to, what you have expressed with videos or comments from the past and what has been expressed with now through these words, a logos of meaning; a feeling and recognition of who you are,good or bad.
PS.... I always try to be on the better of the good side; The best you can be.

I've casually watched yt videos for years, but only recently have i actually started to subscribe to channels and follow some people.
I'm sure it's going to be hard to start out there unknown, I'm obviously not going to have the luxury of being featured
more...
right out of the get go like I was on LV, but the fact that i already have over 30 videos to post there (my count was totally off in the vid lol) others I've never posted, i will be able to post weekly for some time and hopefully that will help to kick start the channel.
Still if one thing does not work i will try something else, i don't think it matters so much over there how much you participate in the community like it does here on LV and on HG, hell it's so big you could barely scratch the sulfas on your own anyway.
I suppose in a sense we are marketing who we are under our profile name. You will have noticed that from a visual marketing point of view I have always tried to have a distinct look that people can associate with me, from the text colors and formats used in my videos, to the color scheme and images of my channel, to the fact that I've always kept my profile picture the same and even the way I write my comments (something I won't be able to do so well on YouTube grree :) ). Still I suppose the biggest thing people will associate with me as a videomaker will be my personality, what I do and generally who I am, or at least the part of me that shows through on my videos.
PS: me too, I always try and show the best of me in my videos and then try and be the best I can be in my day-to-day life.
