I have nothing against them. Many of my friends have them. For my riding style and enjoyment I need a cruiser that has very nimble handling and I haven't found a Harley yet that can do that like the Kawasaki. Of course I haven't tried them all yet.

I'm so glad you made it home safe. I bet you jumped in the pool and had a nice long swim to cool down!

What an epic voyage! It ain't over 'till it's over.
When you were so close to home, it's easy to think, "I've made it", but in reality, the ride isn't over until the bike is parked, engine off, side stand down, helmet off head, and beer in tummy. :-)

So true. I had a premonition that the bike was going to break down. But when II hit L.A. I thought I was in the clear.

That was one hell of a trip and a great video.I can relate to the break down where as I took a trip to L.A. from Philly back in the 70's on a 650 Triumph and broke down about 150 miles from home on the way back.
