War is so ugly, isn't it?
So is hatred.
So is division...not differences...division.
i think is most important that we all see and hear various points of view, both in reporting the actual acts of war and the consequences of it as well as the good and constructive
more...
things we have brought to the Iraqi people and the consequences of not choosing our fights wisely.
i think it is extremely important to understand that there is more than one side in this hideous situation and no side knows the whole truth which i am certain has been true of every war ever fought even tho we might choose to think we know what is true and real.
Some of us honestly believe there is an insidious enemy which has been infiltrating our society for many years now and other believe that is sheer paranoid nonsense. Those perceptions color our opinions on this war. If the former is right and we do nothing, who will have to live with the consequences? If the latter is right, how many are dying for naught?
Meanwhile we just hate one another with more and more ferocity. We have been led to become our own enemies and it is disheartening.
