They covered this on mythbusters. The fastest way to cool a beer is with a chemical fire extinguisher. That gets a bit messy though... :)

See there's no more sweatshirt--Omaha must be heating up!! Liked that trick--but if I used it on the Optimator, mine would be really cold because I can't solve a Rubik's cube!! Wait, would that mean it would warm up again? Later.
