If my response to you seems typical, (as opposed to the hate messages you mention) perhaps you do convey the impression that you are ignorant of the facts, and don't seem to know what's being said on major networks.
Makes me wonder why you would put   more...

The other thing that I noticed about Obama supporters is that there's no conversation about topics, just personal attacks. You all should realize that this doesn't help your candidate.

I just want to make a couple of my own opinions and then an observation about your own.
1. Obama made that speech reluctantly. He has never intended to be a "civil rights" candidate. This speech was made necessary by his association with his former pastor.

Your response is very typical. Because I don't faint when watching Obama, then it must be because I don't understand him, or I'm not watching the right stations.

If you go to his website and listen to his other speeches, you'll see that he's not a 1 trick civil rights pony, but rather, a very well rounded decent, sincere leader - something that is rare in politics in general.

I have always been a huge fan and supporter of the USA and everything it stands for. But Bush has been the sole exceptional president that I feel has done a great deal of damage to the reputation of the USA.

Well, that might be true, but I'm not convinced that we should just pull out now. Not even Hillary really believes that (although she's vague), since we now have an embassy there, for instance.

It's not the power of the USA that is offensive, just that the wrong country was invaded, since Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 911.

It's funny that the power of the US is so offensive to other countries, until they need help in a war, such as WWII.

Outside of the USA, Bush is perceived as a bully and an idiot. McCain is seen as misguided. Hillary is seen as a woman who will say anything to get power.

I've noticed that a lot of people outside the US support Obama. I wonder if there's a reason for that.
