Wow Suze--I sure hope you DO make more videos like this one. My mother and everyone on her side of the family were born in Arkansas, and I've always wanted to see it. This is the next best thing.

Thanks for the tour of your cave! Lots of outlaws hid out in that cave, back in days past, no doubt! Bears, too....oooh, you are brave to go into the wild with no protection....or do you carry something in case of an attack?

Thanks for coming along. I wish we could have seen more of that cave. There are not that many dangerous animals out and about during the day because of the traffic of people camping and hiking. Most of the wildlife around here keep their distance. more...

thank for taking us on a walk some of the part looked a bit tricky. i did a video last year were i had a walk around a nature reserve near where i live and hope to do more out and about video again myself soon but not sure about doing commentry on mine more...

I will probably do more of these since there are lots of places to hike. If I end up in a place with lots of people around, I will probably not do much of a commentary myself...LOL. People look at you funny when you are by yourself talking to a camera.

The last time I went on a hike, I met a mountain lion.
It had just finished raining and I was about 50 yards ahead of my brother-in-law. At the top of the trail was a small cave opening, and I poked my head inside to see the how the conditions were.

It is amazing the speed and agility a person can muster up when faced with danger. Wow, a mountain lion...I know we have some around here. I would rather not experience it first hand. I have seen a black bear last summer while in the woods. It didn't more...
