found a better solution for my thinkpad after vista was becoming too much of a hassle. runs faster with more screen eye candy enabled than vista ever did with nothing installed and a minimal amount of screen items enabled.

i keep XP for the desktop and editing stuff when need be, and use the laptop for everything else.
i'm going to see if win7 is really any good but vista is a big pile.
