Just a thought on your "bubbles", it may help to increase your soak time. You said that you held your temp for about 20min or so. Whereas is going over my old college notes, we used to soak our glaze kiln for 30-60 min. And out of curiosity, more...

Hi

I have soaked as much as 40 minutes and still gotten bubbles. It is just with one or two glaze combinations that are not user-friendsly.

My theory is that the glaze boils at 1250, so I want to go just under boiling to where it is still liquid and let more...
