I remember hearing about the murders shortly after they occurred, and seeing the press coverage in the months that followed. I read "Helter Skelter" and I saw the movie version, too. I think that of all those involved in the killings, Susan Atkins   more...

It will be a moot point in a few week when she's dead.

An interesting question, Gary.

At the risk of being overly simplistic, there is a price to be paid for all that we endeavor to do in life. Hers has yet to be tendered, and if "real" justice were granted, your question would be moot.

Susan Atkins has been denied parole 11 times. What is did was took anothers person life and the life of a child. She was young and on drugs when that happen. Also under the spell of Charlie.

I would have to say no,what if she gets out & then kills again. Then what.People were foolish to say ,oh she learned her lesson, let her out.A day or day goes by & she is out to kill more people.I stick to my story & say no.

You seem to forget that the Tate / LoBianco murders were not motivated by anything like need or desparation. These crimes were committed simply because they could (be committed). There was simply no reason for it. Imagine the horrible desparation Sharon   more...

No.

Judgment was passed more than 30 years ago. Some would consider Life a bargain for a cold-blooded death. This recent development aside, has anything else changed overnight regarding conditions of parole?

I can see both sides of this issue, and thank you for your opinion. Thus far, I see that people are 50/50 split in their opinions, and I'm very interested in hearing what everyone has to say.
