Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, DJ Leo Diaz aka Master Diaz he has been part of the entertainment industry for almost 20 years. His extensive amount of study in various forms of martial arts led him to claim the name "Master Diaz."
Master Diaz offers many styles of performance, including Close Up, Strolling Magic, and Stage Magic for events such as weddings, birthday parties, private events, and corporate shows. He has performed in numerous Las Vegas casinos such as Caesar's Palace, more...Wynn Las Vegas, The Orleans, Palace Station Casino, Palms Hotel Casino and The Venetian Resort.
Master Diaz's career began on the radio as a board operator for several major radio stations in Los Angeles. His live, on-air mixing has been heard on GROOVE RADIO 103.1; KZLA-SUPER ESTRELLA-COMEDY WORLD radio network; POWERTOOLS 105.9; and KRLA TALK RADIO. He has mixed at clubs and events in Hollywood such as The Key Club, Dragon Fly, Zen Sushi Bar, The Arena in Hollywood, Hollywood Athletic Club, The Airliner, and The Palladium. DJ Leo Diaz is known for his blend of house, breakbeat, and techno-trance music, along with adding the visual magic of color-changing records and high-class cd manipulations. In a field full of ordinary DJ's, he has created a style all his own.
Currently, Master Diaz apprentices with magic headliner Jeff McBride, founder of McBride's Magic & Mystery School, and winner of three Guinness World Records for his extraordinary dexterity with coins and cards. DJ Leo Diaz is the offical DJ for Jeff McBride's WONDERGROUND, a performance combining music, magic, and magicians who are up close and personal to the audience.
