At LiveVideo, we advocate user rights and are committed to upholding those rights.
LiveVideo pledges to our users and will adhere to the following:
We believe in freedom of expression. LiveVideo does not engage in unnecessary, arbitrary censorship practices. As long as your behavior is within the realm of the law and the LiveVideo Terms of Service [TOS], you are free to express yourself on LiveVideo whichever way you choose. If you feel you've been unjustifiably censored on LiveVideo please contact us so we can look into the matter and follow up with you.
Not everything you see on LiveVideo may be to your exact liking. You may come across content and users that you find offensive that doesn’t necessarily violate anyone's rights or our Terms of Service. If you come across this kind of content simply do not watch it. If you come across one of these users, simply block them from your channel.
We will not disable functional products (i.e. widgets) not created by LiveVideo. We want to maximize your user experience. Feel free to embed widgets, flash tools, embed codes, and other applications you wish to have on your page/channel. As long as what you embed doesn't interfere with the functionality of our site and doesn’t violate someone else’s legally protected rights, we won't take any offense to you getting the most out of our site.
You own your content. Based on our TOS, we have obtained a limited license to your content to distribute it on our site. However, if you no longer want us to have access to your content, simply remove the content from your channel. In other words, if you upload it, you own it, but we have a license to distribute it.
LiveVideo will not SPAM. We hate SPAM just as much as you do, so rest assured when you sign-up with LiveVideo we will do our best to guard your e-mail accounts against spam. While we may send you notifications via e-mail, you can always opt out of receiving those emails by clicking here.
We are independent. LiveVideo is privately owned and is committed to deploying a higher standard of user commitment than those other large corporate sites operating in cyberspace.
We are available. Most sites make it nearly impossible to contact an actual person when they are looking for support or have questions. At LiveVideo, we are taking steps in bridging communication gaps between us and our users by providing a group of site moderators that can assist you if you ever had a need.
