| Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 10:19 PM | | Though I've only uploaded 30-something videos here, in reality, I have made exactly 295 published AMV's as of today. The rest were all deleted on youtube for 'copyright violations'. Oh well. For the past month, I've been working on bits and pieces of my epic 300 (speaking of 300, I really want to see that movie. Decapitations!) and I really hope that it meets my expectations for a 300th AMV as well as entertains you. It may take a while for me to post it up, since it's a rather big project. The more...song itself is over 5 minutes long and has a lot of cuts. 90% of the amv has clips that are under one second long... so just imagine having to squeeze around 100 different clips in one minute's worth of a song. So yes, it's going to take a while. And that's just the base. I need to create several layers to have overlay effects/PIPs/etc. But I hope that you all will be happy with the end result.
If not, I'll cry

It'll take me a short while to get back into the swing of things because I've got LOADS of notes and school work to catch up on, not to mention pit orchestra's starting and it'll eat away a total of 10 hours of my time per week. Not like I mind. I love it. But it's bad new when it comes to AMV's because I have less time to make them. And to top it all off, I got a new video more...editing program (not like that's a bad thing, either), and I'll be too busy toying around with it to make amv's.
But the GOOD news is that I made an amv that I didn't post yet and I'll be able to give it to you all on Monday night/tuesday. =) see you all then! less | |

OH MY GOD I CAN’T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID THIS. Blame it on luisito506! Go hunt him down and wake him up at three in the morning. I spent fourteen freakin’ more...HOURS on this thing NONSTOP. I even got my little sisters to deliver lunch and dinner for me. Starting at 11am, I worked on this sucker. And I know it’s not all-FMA like usual, but I’d love to see you lot try and use FMA-only for this monster and make the clips match. Srsly, go on and do it. Oh dear lord I can't believe how re-obsessed I've become of the Swan Princess. I used to watch these movies like there was no tomorrow back when I was more...little. Holy crap.
And sorry for the poor cuts; the song was 6 minutes long and I'm lazy.
I mainly just wanted to do this one because it was a fun song and I wanted to use scenes of ed/win growing up less

Okay, sorry this took forever. It should have been done days ago but once again, WMM is a bitchrocket.
I apologize for the crappy cut/edit at the end more...of the song. I actually /did/ create an AMV to the full song, but for some reason, WMM wouldn't let me save that part of the file. And I was too annoyed to find out which clip made WMM angry (a crapload of AP studying made me a very bitter Can). So I just cut out about 30 second's worth of "something wicked this way comes" and just pieced the end together. Sorry about that. less

Well, there's a story to this one =). Pretty much, my family is very into the entire traditional-Irish sort of set-up... so it's only natural we blast more...every Irish song known to mankind (and a few to sheep) every weekend whenever my dad's home. I had a crapload of work to do outside over the weekend, so I had one of our old Irish CD's going on the stereo so I can listen to it outdoors (*iPod was uncharged*).
Now, this song has always been on one of my top favorite Irish songs and it came on while I was working and I could imagine some stranger going up to Hughes' grave and doing something like what happens in the song.
In the song, this guy who's been working and walking all day decides to rest at a graveyard and he sits by this kid's grave and he's talking to it the entire time and just musing over life. It's a pretty nice song with a good story and I hope you like it.
On an ironic note, the gravestone in the song says he died in '1916' while Hughes died in '1914', so the dates are pretty close. =P less
