The ability to customize the look and feel of your channel is a wonderful thing, isn't it? You can put your own graphics, background, colors and make your channel, yours.

And you can make you channel so absolutely hideous that I would rather take a plastic spork to my own retina than to visit your channel ever again.

For the love of all that is good and holy, IF YOUR CHANNEL HAS ANY OF THESE:

Animated gifs
Animated animation
Sparkly animated sparkles of doom
Color   more...combinations from Night of the Living Brain Dead

I'm not going to subscribe. I will, however, mock you for having the most awful collection of crap on the face of this earth in one, single, space on the internet.

Want subscribers? Want people spending time on your channel? You HAVE to give a visitor's eyes a place they'll want to rest at for a long time. If everything spins, whorls, shakes, changes into neon colors, glitters and f'n shimmies--who wants to try and stare at that all day?

Not me.

So if you're wondering why I'm not subscribing to you, or why you're having a hard time getting people to subscribe to you, take a good long look at how you've customized your channel.
